Poklad V. A. et al. The Foundry of FSUE "MMPP "Salyut"
The foundry of FSUE "MMPP "Salyut" specializes in the production of cast gas-turbine engine parts and parts for general machine building from nickel-, aluminum-based alloys, corrosion-resistant steels, iron and bronze. Use of up-to-date computer software packages, new equipment in the production process, use and development of new materials, and the longtime work experience allow producing high-quality castings with complex internal cavities in short time.

Poklad V. A. et al. Application of CALS Technologies at the Foundry of FSUE "MMPP "Salyut"
Use of CALS technology methods enabled FSUE "MMPP "Salyut" to reduce the period of mastering new parts by 5 to 6 times, cut material costs for preproduc-tion and fine-tuning of melting and pouring technology, improve casting quality, make the casting process predictable and controllable.

Kuzneisov A. B. et al. Laboratories for Optical Contactless Measuring Methods and Precision Casting Technology
The article discusses the work of Salyut's laboratory for optical contactless measuring methods and laboratory for precision casting technology.

Sokolov Y. A. et al. A Joint Vacuum Casting Units Project
The article discusses a versatile unit VIP NKS to produce high-temperature alloy castings with different structures.

Nikishin V. A. et al. Production of Precision-Cast Parts with a Super dispersed Grain Structure
A scheme of making parts with a cast granular structure using liquid charging is proposed: the charge stock is melted in a compact powerful inductor to form globules in the melt, moving at a speed of 5... 10 mm/min, and the melt is continuously discharged into a thermostat-crucible to be accumulated and held under certain conditions till the moment of pouring. The processing of castings in a gasostatic unit made it possible to ensure a maximum density of metal (porosity 0.16%) and a high level of mechanical properties. The gasostatic and thermal treatment at 1200"C does not result in coarsening or coagulation of the у '-phase, providing only healing of micropores during gasostatic treatment. The mechanical and fatigue properties of the investigated alloys with the granular structure are not inferior to those of alloys with a columnar dendritic structure.

Ospennikova O. G. et al. Assurance of Surface Quality of Hollow Turbine Blade Castings during Hydrothermal Leaching of Ceramic Cores
Basic process flowsheets for removing ceramic cores from hollow blades of gas-turbine engines by the method of autoclave leaching are discussed. Analysis of damaging of the internal cavities of blades during ceramics removal has been conducted. Effect of process parameters of ceramics removal on the biting of phase components of high-temperature alloys ЖС6У-ВИ, ЖС26-ВИ, ЖС32-ВИ, and on the development of brittle hydrogen cracks in monocrystalline blade castings has been investigated. An optimum process flowsheet of leaching alumina cores using cyclic conversion of the alkaline solution "steam -condensate" in a protective inert gas atmosphere has been tested.

Monastyrskaya Y. V. et al. Gasostatic Treatment of High-Temperature Nickel- and Aluminum-Based Alloy Castings
Gasostatic treatment of rotor blades with an equi-axial and monocrystalline structure from high-temperature ЧС70, ЧС88У, ЖС6У and ЖС32МОНО alloys and blade wheels for gas-turbine aircraft engines and gas-turbine power plants, and castings from АК9ч (АЛ4), ВАЛ-10 and ВАЛ-12 aluminum alloys - is an effective method of quality improvement by increasing density and chemical homogeneity. However, HIP is not effective in case of surface-related defects (porosity, holes). In developing the technology of producing said castings the gasostatic treatment is considered in unity with the casting process.

Monastyrsky V. P. et al. Simulation of Mode of Deformation of Casting during Crystallization
A deformation module for the casting process computer simulation system "PolygonSoft" created (and having being adapted for a number of years) to the order from FSUE "MMPP Sdlyut" within the framework of cooperation between specialists of FSUE "MMPP "Salyut", Computing Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the developers of the "PolygonSoft" system adequately describes the deformation processes in castings of the blade type and makes it possible to optimize the relevant casting technologies.

Orlov M.R. et al. Operational Defects and Repair of Cast Turbine Rotor Blades from High-Temperature Nickel Alloys
Irreversible structural changes in cast high-temperature nickel alloys during long operation of high-pressure turbine rotor blades of gas-turbine aircraft engines have been investigated. A flowsheet of blade restoring repair allowing to remove the products of sulphide corrosion and high-temperature oxidation from the hard-to-access cooled ducts, eliminate casting and diffusion porosity, restore the morphology of the strengthening у'-phase, apply protective coatings to the inner surface of the ducts and flow surface of the fin has been developed and tested.

Abraimov N. V. et al. Heat-Resistant Coatings for Gas-Turbine Engine
The article discusses the problems of ensuring longer service life, higher reliability and durability of gas turbine blades by an example of creating heat-resistant coatings.
