In the article authors has analysed the mutual conformity of graphite and silicon crystallizing and has researched the influence of modifiers on cast iron and silumin crystalline structure.

Fesenko M.A., Fesenko A.N., Kosyachkov V.A. Obtaining of iron castings with dif~ ferentiable structure and properties with the use of the technology of intrastratified melt modification
A new method and technological options of obtaining castings with differentiable structure and properties in separate members or sections on the basis of a unified initial melt, based on the technology of intrastratified melt treatment is offered. The examples of double-sided and double-layer iron castings with differentiable structure and properties manufactured with the use of the new technology utilizing the processes of intrastratified treatment of initial cast iron melt by various modifiers are made.

Methods of making cast blanks allowing to control the composition and structure of castings' material by varying chemical composition, temperature regimes, as well as by mechanical, magnetic and other effects on the melt during its crystallization are presented. Relationship between obtained microstructure and mechanical properties of casting has been investigated.

Maltseva Y.Y., Monastyrsky A.V. Simulation of the Process of Directional Solidification of Heat-Resistant Nickel Alloy Castings
The most progressive casting technique, providing high operational properties of rotor and blades of turbines, the method of the directed solidification (DS) with liquid metal cooling (LMC). In this article ProCAST possibilities on an example of modeling of DS process with LMC are shown.

Shumakov V.F., Gorodchikov V.N., Demianenko U.V. On the Development Strategy of the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant's Casting Production
A comprehensive program of mastering new technologies in the basic process of casting production became a derivative of the main strategy adopted at the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant and united in a single project ail issues in the field of engineering and plant management. High quality and minimization of time and material costs can be ensured only by information technologies, when in all production stages of a product's life cycle during production and testing information models of both products themselves and their manufacturing processes are created.

Markov V.A., Grigor A.S., Antufiev U.N. Ecological aspects of choice carbon additions for moulding sand iron casting
Trie usage of traditional carbon additions in composition moulding sand leads to the increasing of thermodestruction products in moulding sand and to the emission of ecologically harmful substances. Nanodispersive pirocarbon is necessary to use as antyburd-on addition for the improvement of ecological conditions and economy of moulding materials.

Install researches on use of pitches on a basis oligofurfuriloxisilicone ether with acid curing agent are carried out have shown their expediency for introduction in foundry shops of the factories. Researches install on method by strength, live of molding mixture, gasify, gas ran through, strew falling, stickiness, beat out ability and metals penetration.

Rybkin V.A. Directions of Development of Special Casting Method Technologies
Criteria of choosing an optimum technology as applied to special casting methods are given. Parameters to be taken into account in the choice have been analyzed.

Skripnik S.V. Vertical Centrifugal Machines with a Swivel Launder The construction of new turning chamfer is considered for the spun casting in forms with the vertical axle of rotation. Grounded application of such devices for the receipt of the big hollow foundings. The example of making of the big hollow foundings is resulted with application of turning chamfer of new construction. Advantages of technology of lateral inundation of metal are rotined with a slag in the forms of the big hollow foundings with the vertical axle of rotation.
