Kokarev V.N., Shatrov A.S. New construction material heat-resistant aluminum alloy ceramic coating
The article is devoted to the methods for improving properties of cast Al alloys, including application of strong ceramic coatings onto the surface of castings. An improved micro-arc oxidation method (MAO) to apply such coatings was described.

Knyazev S.V., Usoltsev A.A., Kutsenko A.I. Nanomaterials based on porous metals and the method of their introduction into the melt
Production of alloys based on the use of porous cast materials impregnated with ultrafine-and nano-materials is considered. The uniform distribution of nanomaterial particles in the entire melt volume was found out.

Zhukov A.A., Beliakov A.I. To the question of determination of hydrogen content in aluminium alloys
The methods to determine the hydrogen content in Al alloyswere analyzed in the paper. It is proposed to use the LITIS system for thermographic analysis (TGA) of chemical composition of the alloy to define the crystallization temperature range of the alloy. The system allows one to evaluate the hydrogen content in the alloy.

A comparative analysis of two methods to manufacture cores used in the production of gray iron castings Furan- and cold box amin- processes was done. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are shown.

Gruzman V.M. Anti-erosion coating of sand form
Due to the low casting properties of the material, the first shaped steel castings were thick-walled and, accordingly, prone to the formation of hard-to-separate castings are called nonstick body casting sand inclusions. It is proposed to introduce in the list of foundry terms the concept of anti-erosion paint. An example of a successful application of such paint is given.

Semenov A.B. On the peculiarities of the production of precision billets and machine parts from structured multi-phase aluminum alloys
Precision shaping of products from metal-polymer granulated powder mixtures and from cast alloys (which are converted, before injection into the mould, in the casting slips with high fraction of solids and are injection molded in a special thixotropic solid-liquid state in the precise metal tools installed on the modern equipment) becomes almost a routine practice of the large-scale production at leading suppliers of billets abroad and the manufactured products are expensive imported goods for the domestic machine-building enterprises. The critical backwardness of the domestic foundry industry, which is particularly evident in the new sector called thixotropic material metallurgy, and is especially vivid on the Al-production market, cannot be overcome without improving the skills of mechanical engineers.

Mukhametzyanova G.F., Kolesnikov M.S., Astashchenko V.I., Mukhametzyanov I.R. Bimetallic cast dies for hot deformation from ferritic-carbide steel and austenite-bainite iron
A method for producing bimetallic cast dies for hot forming is given, dispersion-hardening ferritic carbide steel is used as the working layer (engraving) of the stamp, and highstrength cast iron on an austenite-bainite basis is used for the supporting layer. Bimetallic stamp is obtained in the mold with the provision of directional solidification, made of highly heat-conducting water and gas-tight molding sand.

Developed the mathematical model of the ceramic foundry core deformation process at the time of the liquid metal filling and further foundry cooling. Offered the numerical scheme, solution algorithm, and numerical calculation results.
