It has been shown that the crystallization of binary alloys is a nanostructured process. Microcrystals of component В, ?-phase, ?-phase and intermetallic AnBm during crystallization in the range of liquidus and solidus temperatures, during eutectic and peritectic reactions are formed from nanocrystals of components A and B alloys, their free atoms and atomic complexes.

Kapilevich A.N., Andreev V.V., Kadochnikov S.V., Nuraliev N.F. Casting of cylinder bushings (sleeves) for diesel engines from perlitic iron with vermicular graphite
The strength and main operational properties of high-strength perlitic iron with vermicular graphite ChVG-KhNMD are considered. The experience in manufacturing of cylinder bushings (sleeves) for DM21 diesel engines from this material is described. The prospects for the manufacture of diesel engines using new modern materials and technologies that provide high technical characteristics of power units are shown.

Gruzman V.M., Lapina A.Yu. Construction sand for casting molds
The possibility of replacing the heap sand used in the filling layer with construction sand was studied. The prospects of using such sand after shaking out the casting in the production of building materials were shown. The most important adjustments in the processes of manufacturing and shaking out of a two-layer liquid-glass mold filled with building sand are described.

Isagulov A.Z., Abdrakhmanov M.S. Non-stick coatings for lost foam casting
The composition of the non-stick model paint and the method of its application largely depends on the absence of burn on castings and improving the quality of their manufacture. Improving the quality properties of castings is an urgent task for the development of special types of casting. However, the realization of these advantages is possible only with the right choice of coatings, taking into account the type of melt, casting temperature, casting cross-section, coating density, coefficient of thermal expansion, covering capacity, shrinkage, gas permeability, coating drying method, mold materials.

The article considers the problem of improving the quality of steel thin-walled castings for critical purposes, obtained by additive thermally removed models. A comparative analysis of two variants of the generalized technological scheme of thin-walled steel casting for critical purposes according to thermally removed models is presented. The authors proposed a number of new technical solutions regarding the method of assembling a model block and the composition of the suspension for coating its front layer, the composition of the liquid self-hardening mixture, the design of the perforated flask, as well as the actual method of thin-walled steel casting using burnt additive models.

Livshits V.B., Kushnir A.P., Mamedova I.Yu. Some questions of the back pressure casting
The paper presents the study of the mechanism and quantitative characteristics of the effect of gas backpressure on the process of forming castings from a large number of casting alloys. Their structure and properties are regulated. A technological process of casting with gas backpressure (LGP) has been developed for a number of castings of machine-building plants. It is shown how the application of the LGP method affects the physical, mechanical and operational properties of castings obtained by LGP, compared with castings poured into a coquille.

Martynenko S.V., Ogorodnikova O.M. Simulation and improvement of the "side frame" casting technology using LVMFlow software
The LVMFlow software was used to simulate the solidification process of a large-sized thin-walled steel casting in a sand mold. For the computer model of such a complex casting technology, the necessary settings were selected and verified. Improving the thermos-physical properties of the mold material is the most important setting that ensures the correct computation of temperature fields. To restore the heat capacity and thermal conductivity in the technological temperature range, a method based on solving direct and inverse problems of thermal conductivity has been developed. As a result, using accurate computer simulation, an improved technology for the "side frame" casting was developed.

Korbanov V.D. Casting of topologically optimized castings The paper proposes a method for the manufacture of topologically optimized products, which makes it possible to significantly reduce their cost; the results of X-ray television inspection of topologically optimized castings and recommendations for ensuring the required strength of cast blanks are presented.
