Lasenko V. V. et al. Improving the Electroslag Re-melting Methods
The article discusses use of solenoids to agitate steels, which allows increasing the capacity of electroslag remelting furnaces, obtaining a homogeneous fine-grain structure with highly dispersed inclusions. This provides improvement and stabilization of mechanical properties and, accordingly, the service durability of parts and structures, thereby reducing the production costs.

Marukovich Y. I. et al. Graphite Crystallization Centers in Cast Iron
There is an analysis of modern theories of nucleation of graphite in cast irons given. It is shown, that origination of crystallization centers of graphite in cast iron is mainly performed according to coagulation principle of graphite nanoparticles at desorption of them off the surface of oxygen and sulfur.

Application of Mg alloys in aircraft made by OJSC Tupolev, and trends in the application of new materials in modern civil aircraft: composites, glass-fiber plastics, coal plastics, hybrids of glass-fiber and coal plastics, laminated alumo-glass-fiber plastics is discussed.

Gubenko S. I. Behavior of Nonmetallic Inclusions during Laser Treatment of Steels
The article is dedicated to studying the structural changes in the steel matrix near the inclusions of different types during laser treatment. Behavior of inclusions having different melting temperatures at the moment of laser action determining the character of their interaction with the metal matrix under the conditions of abnormal mass transfer has been studied. Peculiarities of micro-inhomogeneous strengthening of steels at laser treatment have been investigated. The total strengthening effect of various factors near nonmetallic inclusions has been determined.

Putintseva M. N. Investigation of Crystallization of Particles Obtained by Electroerosion Dispersion from Hard WC-Co Alloys
The Considered particularities to crystallizations alloy WC-Co depending on ambience s and mode dispesion. It is installed that under dispersed carbid of the component can remain and suffer the changes to hard phase; the cobalt phase was melted and crystallized always. The Cobalt in all dispesion powder was presented high-temperature hexagonal by modification - cc-Co. The structure of the cobalt phase depended on mode and ambiences dispesion, as well as contentses of the cobalt in source alloy. For all powder was characteristic of mismatch to orientation of the fetus to crystallizations and warm-up gradient that must bring under- the following annealing or sintering to formation crystal twines.

Volkova Y.F. et al. Effect of Hydrogen on the Structure and Properties of Wrought Magnesium Alloys
Investigations have confirmed that adding of such rare earth metals, as neodymium and yttrium, to Mg alloys considerably increases the volume of gases being absorbed. In multicomponent Mg-Zn-Zr-Y alloys the presence of yttrium and zirconium hydrides contributes to the improvement of the alloys' strength properties while reducing their ductility and corrosion resistance at the same time.

There are the results of experiments with Babbitt - Alloy (Sn-Sb) and SiC particles composites. Build up the perfect composition with 2% of SiC particles and with very high tribotechnical properties.

Kabaldin Y. G. et al. Quantum Mechanism of Formation of Nanostructural States
It has been shown that the arrangement of atoms in the periodic table and their electronic structure is determined by the quantum nature of development of the micro-world and its evolution. It also conditions the formation mechanism of nanosystems, by forming quantum states (of molecules, clusters) . In this connection, the isolated atoms' ability of self-assembling to a nanosystem will also be determined first of all by the quantum state and, consequently, by the energetic state of the atoms' electron shells depending on the degree of probability of their being filled with electrons. A neural network allowing carrying out self-assembly of isolated atoms by the information entropy of electron shells is proposed. Quantum mechanisms of breaking the structural stability of nanosystems at their size of over 100 nm are set forth.
