Dorofeyev G.A., Komarov A.A. The peculiarities of the process of ignition of CO in steel-melting arc furnace with the use of the sinticom
In the paper, the process of separation and afterburning of carbon monoxide in an electric arc furnace with the use of a synthetic material of the brand SK15- sinthycom. Computer simulations have been carried out to model the distribution of the temperature of the steelmaking process in 160 EAF with loading into 2 tubs. The metal shell of the first tub consisted of uniformly mixed 80 tons of steel scrap, 10 t of pig iron and 10 t of syncrome, and the second bucket's metal charge consisted of 65 t of steel scrap and 10 t of sinthycom mixed.

Bublikov Yu.., Polyakov G.., Podgorny S.N. Analysis of methods for alloying of steel with nitrogen
The existing methods of nitrogen doping of iron-carbon melts in industrial conditions are analysed. Mechanisms of nitrogen assimilation by a metallic melt are studied depending on the type of nitrogen carrier used and technological factors. A principled approach is presented in the derivation of the dependences allowing one to determine the solubility of nitrogen in a metallic melt on the basis of thermodynamic quantities and the concentration of alloying elements.

Philippov S.F., Koloskov S.V. Application of combined fluxes of improved environmental compatibility for melting of non-ferrous alloys
The use of combined fluxes as applied to melting of non-ferrous metals, i.e. Cu- and Zn-based alloys is considered. Their advantage is shown in comparison with industrial fluxes.

Gubenko S.I., Bespalko V.N. An effect of boride inclusions on the properties of high alloyed steel
In steel 04H14T3R1F became the presence of borides based on chromium, iron and titanium. The patterns of morphology, size and chemical-mineralogical composition of borides in the process of plastic deformation were studied. The sizes and distribution of borides in the original tube billet, liner after the first piercing and finished hot-rolled pipes were determined. The influence of borides on the technological plasticity of steel 04H143R1F was shown. Their influence on the nucleation of the destruction of steel 04H143R1F at different stages of production of pipes for nuclear power engineering was substantiated.

khonin S.V., Severin .Yu., Berezos V.., Pikulin .N., Erokhin .G. Production of TiAl and Ti3Al intermetallic alloys by electron beam melting
The technology of electron beam melting with intermediate crucible of TiAl ntermetallic compound with introduction of boron and lanthanum in the process of melting from lanthanum hexaboride was developed. The microstructure and fractography of the ingots that were obtained were studied.

Lovshenko F.G. Properties of mechanically alloyed composite heat-resistant materials of the system AlMg
The results of the research on structuralphase transformations and properties at all stages of the material production are presented. It is shown that the technology based on reactive mechanical alloying is an effective technique for the production of composite heat-resistant AlMg based alloys, which are characterized by the strength that surpasses that of traditional deformed analogs over a wide temperature range.

Minenko G.N. A method of the differential processing of aluminum-matrix composite materials by the electric fields
The method of electric field treatment of composite material based on aluminum alloy is described. The scheme of the experimental setup and experimental data are presented. The scheme of the mechanism of influence of an electric field on composite materials is shown.
