I.A. Yaskevich graduated from the Foundry Department of the Moscow Bauman Technical University. She worked in her field of specialization (special casting methods) for ten years. From 1973 to 1993 she worked at the “Mashinostroyeniye” Publishing House as scientific editor, deputy editor-in-chief, and editor-in-chief (since 1990) of the “Liteinoye proizvodstvo” journal.

Since 1993 she is the editor-in-chief of the “Liteinoye proizvodstvo” Publishing House issuing the journals “Liteinoye proizvodstvo”, “Metallurgiya mashinostroyeniya”, and “Bibliotechka liteishchika”
