Bаtyshev A. I. et al. Lead Segregation in Aluminium Alloy Castings
Information on the impact of mechanical pressure on lead segregation in cuprous silumin castings is given. It has been shown that pressure during crystallization causes reverse segregation of lead in castings: the higher the lead addition in the alloy, the more probable the segregation. Measures favoring reduction of lead segregation in castings are indicated.

Monastyrsky V. P. Shrinkage Cavity Formation Model
Based on the condition of constancy of mass of a crystallizing casting, an equation of movement of melt's free surface has been obtained, and the process of formation of shrinkage surface in the conditions typical for the real process - at considerable cooling of melt's free surface - is discussed.

Technological properties of forming bentonite clays manufactures of "Factory of weighting compounds" are considered. Influence of chemical activation on durability characteristics of bentonite clay of a Konstan-tinovsky deposit is investigated.

Arutyunyan G. A. et al. Method of Casting by Local Degassing
The article describes а method of casting by local degassing, which allows to improve quality, mechanical properties and to cut costs.

Chernov N. M. et al. Investment Casting of a Bimetallic Tool with Crystallization under Pressure
This paper presents a few results of study of a novel moulding technology. This technology is used in production of the composite cutting tool by the method of moulding onto sucelted models with crystallization under pressure. In the paper, a schematics and parameters of the technology are shown. The composite cutting tool has been tested under laboratory and factory conditions. The test results show that the technology proposed allows increasing of operational reliability and durability for the tool and also productivity gain and decreasing the unproductive losses in comparison with the regular technology.
