Kosychkov V.A. Nature of the Fragile of High-silicon Ferrite Nodular Cast-Iron
Set nature of the known phenomenon of substantial decline of impact strength of ferrite nodular iron with silicon content more than 2,3%. By the spectral analysis by the method of the reflected electrons in the two-phase grafyt-ferryte structure of high-silicon nodular cast-iron had found out the unknown before third silicone phase of the type Fe3Si in the form of sharp needles wise 0,1…0,5 mm length. This phase during the shock loadings is the concentrator of peak tensions for the crack birth and barter distribution of destroying crack on the fragile mechanism.

Kulbovsky I.K. , Tupatilov Y.A., Mikhailov V.N. Effect of Pouring Temperature and Chemical Composition of 20GL Grade Steel on Hot Tearing in Railway Transport Castings
As a result of investigations into the effect of pouring temperature and chemical composition of 20GL grade steel on the hot tearing in over-spring beam and side frame castings produced at the Bezhetsk Steel Foundry for railway vehicles, factors have been determined that have the strongest effect on such kind of defects. Recommendations on reducing hot-tearing related casting rejects have been worked out.

Iodkovsky S.A., Kulikov A.P., Shchepkin I.A., Nikolsky A.A. Effect of Steel Melting Technology on the Quality of Shaped Castings
The steel melting technology strongly determines casting quality. There is no doubt that the melting technology determines the basic casting-process properties of steel - crack resistance, castability, mold-filling capability. Its optimization for specific conditions allows improving the technical and economic indices of casting production. The main wayof improving the steel melting technology is to use various methods of out-of-furnace treatment.

V.N. Romashkin, F.A. Nuraliyev, Y.A. Stepashkin Some Peculiarities of Disintegration of Self-Hardening Molding Sands
Based on the analysis of the nature of the destruction of molding mixtures proposed a model to describe their destruction. With the use of specially designed specimens for tensile and compression, conducted a study on the ratio of strength and deformation of various molding mixtures. Established that the elastic moduli of molding mixtures with different types of testing (compressive and tensile) differ by about 7 times. Determined physical and mechanical parameters that can be used to study the destruction of molding mixtures of high-temperature stresses.

Skripnik S.V. Methods of Controlling the Formation of Crystalline Macrostructure of Centrifugal Electroslag Castings
The methods of management forming of crystalline structure of the solidifiable centrifugal electro-slag founding are rotined with the vertical ax of rotation of form. At varying of thickness of layer of heating slag forming of the both mixed and through рillar structure is possible. The dynamic affecting solidifiable fusion allows to get the ground up equal-sized structure in the body of founding, possessing enhanceable stability against shrinkage crack . Chemical composition became or alloy plays one of leading roles in forming of one or another structure. The method of CESC is provided by possibility of suplementary allouing elements metal by necessary components in the process of the crucible melting.
