Kolokoltsev V.M. , Petrochenko E.V., Ivanova I.V., Beriozova S.V. Influence of pouring temperature and cooling conditions of alloy to properties of cast tool steel for hot deformation stamps in mould
The explorations by definition of rational intervals of pouring temperatures cast stamp steels for hot deformation 3Õ3Ì3Ô è 4Õ5ÂÔÑ are presented in this research work. The mould is proved to change speed of cast cooling. The tendency of structure crushing is observed according to the refrigeration conditions. Speed of cooling alloys decrease leads to rough increase in samples structure. And then the size of dendrites of a primary austenite grows and carbides become larger. This process leads to mechanical properties lowering in comparison with results of the properties received at pouring in metal mould. It is recommended to choose the mould type regarding wall casting thickness and alloy pouring temperature in real conditions in casting production of stamps.
Key words: stamp steel, mechanical properties, structure, pouring temperature, speed of cooling.
Kablov D.Y., Sidorov V.V. Nitrogen in Single-Crystal High-Temperature Alloys
Metallographic investigations into the structure and form of primary carbides in initial charge preparations with different nitrogen contents were carried out. A relationship between nitrogen admixture content in a high-temperature alloy and quality of single crystals obtained from such metal was revealed. Values of maximumadmissible nitrogen content in the alloy, at which a perfect single-crystal structure (SCS) forms during crystallization have been established.
Key words: high-temperature alloys, single-crystal blades, macrostructure of alloys.
Gerasimov V.V., Visik Y.M. Casting of Disc Blanks with Regulated Structure
There is shown the possibility of using directional crystallization (DC) to produce disc blanks with a diameter of 100…170 mm. Process regimes for producing such blanks on UVNK14 and UVNK10 units are given. An experimental lot of blanks with DC and single - crystal(SC) structures for making discs for small-size helicopter engines has been produced.
Key words: directional and single-crystal structures, directional crystallization units, hightemperature wrought alloys.

The article presents a solution for implementing direct production of sand molds and cores without tooling on the basis of the production technology complex (PTC) “Sand Molds” using digital technologies (DT) at OAO “NIAT”. There was produced a casting from AM4.5Kd alloy using end-to-end digital technologies of making polymer-bonded molds and cores.

Novozhilov N.Y., Finkelshtein A.B. Use of Industrial Dispersant “Polyplast TD” in Molding Sands
Compression strength, Orlov flowability and crumblability of green facing sands and dry core sands with an addition –dispersant “Polyplast TD” were investigated as compared to industrial lignosulfonate (ILS). Sand compositions with “Polyplast TD” addition that have been successfully used at OAO “Uraltransmash” for over 2 years are recommended. Industrial tests of the sand showed a 24.5% reduction insmall sand holes and improvement of casting surface quality.
