The technological aspects for growing of stability in the process of making gravity-die casting from hypoeutectic silumin (hypoeutectic alloy aluminium silicon (7%) magnesium (0,3%) are discussed in this article. Mechanical properties of alloys from experimental smeltings corresponded to requirements state standard 1583-93. The purpose of the present paper also is to analyze results of the modernization of method for determination of core sand mixtures moisture in the plants laboratory: time arriage analysis after modernization diminish in 3 time, expenditure of electric energy was 6 time less.

Voronin Y.F. Examples of identifying and eliminating casting defects
The article is directed at improving foundry technologist skills in quick identification of casting defects, revealing causes of their origin, and methods of elimination. The article discusses in detail oxidized gas blowholes of enlarged (>15 mm) and medium (<15 mm) size, as well as knot-like blowholes from 0.2 to 2 mm. All of the castings presented were examined by the author at foundries where characteristic visual and logical peculiarities of defects had been determined, their formation stages and elimination methods had been composed. Elimination techniques for each typical casting are described in detail.

Malyarov A.I., Balanchuk Y.B., Burlakova M.G. Making art castings with closed cavity by rotating a mold relative to two axes
The design of the plant to produce art products with a closed cavity is shown. Installation is driven by a motor, a worm gear and a belt transmission, providing the rotation process vessel about a vertical axis and horizontal axis with a frequency of 1/3 revolutions per second, and the rotation mechanism of the entire system by the angle +/- 90 degrees. Are photos of the casting obtained by setting.

Is a typical design shakers to counter punch and vibro-table and a comparative study of the characteristics of their work evaluated the effectiveness of various mechanisms of compaction of the moldable mixture. Advantages and disadvantages of the various circuits of the drive.
