Smykov A.F., Moiseyev V.S. Criteria-based assessment of forming a homogeneous structure in the casting of heatproof alloys
The kinetics of structure formation in shaped molded articles, including superalloys of significant influence of temperature gradient in the liquid phase prior to the solidification front and the linear speed of advance it. To assess the formation of a homogeneous structure in the cast billet can be used a specialized critical criterion determined for each alloy or group of alloys experimentally.

The article presents the results of macro- and microstructural studies of the hot crack defect carried out to identify common patterns in the structure of the defect surfaces and areas nearby. The mechanism of the formation of hot crack in steel castings and morphological features of their structure depending on the structure of the alloy. The characteristic features of the inherent defects of the hot crack in steel shaped castings.

The paper shows the methodology of the experiment on the effect of inhibition of free linear shrinkage in the formation of porosity in the casting. The design developed tests for uniaxial and biaxial difficulty linear shrinkage. Techniques of evaluation of porosity intaglio techniques and imaging. The results of the study and evaluation of shrinkage porosity are shown. The advantages of the use of computed tomography for evaluation of porosity before metallographic method is shown.

The article describes the scientific and technical, technological and economic aspects of the technical re-equipment of OJSC MTW foundry with the full transition to the production of sand cores for resource-saving technology Cold box amin. All work carried out on the basis of domestic technological developments and equipment, created in collaboration by specialists of JSC BELNIILIT and OJSC MTW with the support of the state.

Kosovich A.A., T.R. Gilmanshina, T.A. Bogdanova, E.G. Partyko. About foreign classification of light alloy wheels in high-temperature alloys
The paper deals with the classification of defects arising from the low-pressure casting. Gradual transition of researchers attention from common problems to features of defects appearance in methods of casting is shown. The parameters forming the main approaches to defects classification of die casting are highlighted. The special attention is paid to the new, three-level classification of defects specialized on casting of aluminum alloys.

Mukhametzyanova G.F., Kolesnikov M.S., Mukhametzyanov I.R. The impact pressure surface quality and chemical composition of the melt in the molds for aluminum casting operation
The dissolution rate of the material in the mold casting melts, depending on the quality of the surface processing of molds and chemical composition silumin is established. Optimal values for the processing of mold aluminum casting surface under pressure and the appropriateness of lubrication are defined. It is established that the dominating factor on activity of dissolution of materials of press forms in silumin is content of iron in them.

Nesterov N.V., Vorontsov B.S.,Savinykh L.M. Vacuum system for lost foam casting technology
Based on the patterns of data analysis and experimental studies of thermal decomposition of polystyrene in lost foam castingprocess developed empirical equations for calculating the amount of emitted product of thermal decomposition. Calculated the volume generated when casting the gaseous products of thermal decomposition per unit weight of polystyrene and suitable casting alloys for different groups. The maximum gassing occurs during casting of steel, and minimum with cast copper alloys. On the basis of those calculations the vacuum flask system and remove gases in lost foam casting were developed. This system supports a casting process in a vacuum flask -40 to -20 kPa, which allows the preform to fill weight of 200 kg.

Ogorodnikova O.M., Bryakunov S.V., Pokazanev M.V. URevealing casting defects by computer-aided and experimental methods
Examined was the body part of a control arm made from AK12 alloy by the die casting method. A computer-aided and experimental examination of shrinkage defects in the cast part was carried out. A comparative analysis of the results of the computer simulation of the casting technology and the X-ray defectoscopy showed the same distribution of defective zones, mainly on the outer surface of the casting, which allows to use a more cost-beneficial method of diagnosing casting defects using computer simulation at the production facility.
