Marukovich E.I., Stetsenko V.Y. About modifying of eutectic of castings from silumin
It is shown that sodium and strontium are not dissolved in silumin therefore cannot influence process of modifying of the eutectic dendritic crystals directly. In liquid silumin sodium is in a type of an emulsion, and strontium – in the form of a colloid. In case of the eutectic response vials of the selected hydrogen are created on the eutectic dendritic crystals, hindering with their ramifying. In case of the modifying processing of a melt of silumin vials of hydrogen are formed on a sodium emulsion or on a strontium colloid. It promotes ramifying of the eutectic dendritic crystals and receiving the modified eutectic.

The article is devoted to the investigation of new wear-resistant composite materials with the Cu-alloy matrix reinforced with harder particles. The produced composite material has an increased wear resistance, which makes it possible to use it in loaded friction units.

Seredenko E.V. A complex effect of the cooling rate and the constant magnetic field on the grain size of a VAL10-type cast alloys
A complex effect of the cooling rate of the metal melt and the constant magnetic field on the grain size and structure uniformity of an Al-Cu cast alloy was investigated. Optimum values of the magnetic field induction at different cooling rates in the center and on the surface of a castingwere determined.

Kulikov V.Yu., Kvon Sv.S., Eryomin E.N., Kovalyova T.V., Adamova G.H. Influence of variable pressure on density and durability of sand-resin forms
The resin used for production of shell forms has high cost. For increase in adhesion of resin, its uniformity of distribution and, respectively, a possibility of decrease in her quantity in mix along with temperature influence pressure is used. Technological process for receiving forms looks as follows: after hashing sand-pitch mix is filled up in the bunker of the machine. Later capsizing of the bunker with mix on heated up to 240…250°C model plate is made. At the same time at the same time by means of press a plate pressure of 0,25 MPa moved. In 10 seconds pressure decreases to 0,2 MPa. In 10 seconds pressure increases up to 0,35 MPa. At the same time the shell form 10…14 mm thick is formed.

Illarionov I.E., Babkin V.G., Gilmanshina Т.R., Kovaleva A.A., Lytkina S.I., Borisyuk V.A. Investigation of the properties of water suspensions on natural and activated graphites
In the liquid state, at the time of preparation and coating, complex colloidal systems are represented. Uniform distribution of graphite particles in water can be achieved by ensuring high sedimentation stability of the suspension, which is determined primarily by the colloidal-chemical properties of the graphite-water system: the wettability of graphite particles with water and the dispersion and state of the surface of the graphite particles. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the properties of suspensions depending on the quality of the filler. It is shown that substitution of natural graphite for the activated in the composition of the filler leads to an increase in the wettability of graphite by a binder composition, an increase in zeta-potenial, as a result of which suspensions made on the basis of activated graphite and bentonite are more stable.

Livshits V.B., Kazachkova O.A., Bobkova Е.S. Protective coatings for press-molds used in production of Al-alloy castings
A protective coating of press-molds used in production of Al-alloy castings was studied in the work. It has been found out that such a coating should have high thermal stability, mechanical and adhesive strength, an optimum heat-storage capacity and high processing characteristics. Pyrophyllite, which possesses these properties, can be used in production of Al-castings by injection molding and by all kinds of metallurgical working carried out under controlled pressure. This coating (with graphite additives) can be recommended for casting with crystallization under pressureof alloys, the melting point of which is ?1000 °C, for example, copper alloys.

The article outlines the concept of the domestic modular building of metal-cutting machinesbased on the decomposition of the basic parts of the equipment. The use of the "cloud" technologies in the field of the life cycle of metal-cutting machines is described.
