Degtyarev A.F., Skorobogatykh V.N., Nuraliev F.A., Kaftannikov A.S., Schepkin I.A., Konzevoy S.I., Plotnikova A.V. Properties of wear-resistant foundry steels intended for mining equipment parts
Based on the analysis of literature data on the composition, properties and application of wear-resistant foundry steels for parts of mining equipment, as well as the results of studies of the influence of chemical, phase composition and heat treatment processes on the strength and impact strength of such parts and their infusions on the properties of steels, competitive steel grades are proposed. A complex technology of heat treatment of castings made of complex alloyed wear-resistant steels is proposed, which provides the necessary set of properties and reliable operation of mining equipment parts.
Keywords: Steel type 35H3N3MBFL and 20H12N3G4AFL, smelting, heat treatment, mechanical properties, impact strength at –40°C, rivetability.

Eutyukhov A.P., Zenkin N.N., Zenkin R.N. The influence of temperature overheating to fluidity in production of cast iron alloy parts with special properties
Abstract In this article are represented the results of theoretical research and practical application of materials, which are being used in production of parts for rotary crushers with various principles for cutting nonmetallic materials. We have focused on obtaining cast iron castings, which were additionally alloyed with chromium and have various types of gating systems. Within framework of the construction of technological schemes for producing these parts, the temperature range was found out by practical approach , which allows to increase the fluidity of the initial melt by 1.5 times. The relationships between the electronic structure of elements and their influence on the state of bonds between iron and carbon which is essential in regulating the process of cast iron’s structuring, which is directly related to the fluidity, are established. It is determined that increasing of the chromium content improves the material’s ability to thermal hardening, resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
Keywords: Abrasive wear, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, cast microstructure, chromium, fluidity, core blows.

Vdovin K.N., Feoktistov N.A., Pivovarova K.G., Ponamareva T.B. The effect of particle size distribution of refractory filler on the quality of non-stick paint
The paper presents the results of a study of the granulometric composition of a refractory filler-zircon by laser diffraction. The integral and differential curves of particle size distribution were obtained for zircon concentrate of the KCP45 and KCP63 brands. The properties of non-stick paints prepared on the basis of zircon concentrate of different granulometric composition were studied. The results obtained have shown significant advantages of a non-stick paint based on zircon concentrate of KCP45 brand.
Keywords: Refractory filler, zircon, granulometric composition, non-stick paint.

Doroshenko V.S. About casting protective and wear-resistant structures made of isothermal hardened high-strength cast iron
An overview of the technology of casting protective and wear-resistant structures during the design of their foundry from isothermically tempered cast iron serves as a justification for the application of new technical solutions and materials that have a mechanism of hardening and adaptation of the material to external deformation. New cell castings are designed with a simplified assembly process for single casting models. Casting technology in combination with heat treatment is based on the use of Lost Foam casting.
Keywords: Casting, ammunition, armament, cellular casting, ductile iron, bainitic cast iron, austenite, ausferritic cast iron, Lost Foam casting, evaporated patterns.

Odinokov V.I., Evstigneev A.I., Dmitriev E.A., Ivankova E.P., Sviridov A.V., Usanov G.I. Forecasting of cracking resistance of multi-layer shell operations when filling with steel
Has developed a mathematical model for predicting crack formation in quartz multilayer shell forms when casting them with liquid metal. To solve this problem, the theory of small elastoplastic deformations and the heat equation, as well as the tested numerical method, were used. A numerical scheme and an algorithm for solving the problem are proposed, and the results of numerical calculations are presented and generalized.
Key word:sShell form, material properties, stress, strain, temperature.

Lazarenkov A.М. About the extent of environmental pollution by foundry emissions
The results of the study of emissions of harmful substances from sources of foundries with different production patterns are given, the share of foundry shops in emissions is determined, calculations of dispersion of harmful substances in the atmosphere are made, and air pollution is estimated in nearby residential areas and enterprise territories. The assessment of the share of foundries in environmental pollution by machine-building enterprises showed that they make up about 82% of dust, about 60% of carbon oxide, about 70% of nitrogen dioxide, about 93% of phenol, formaldehyde, etc.
Keywords: Foundry, sources of emissions, environment, harmful substances, nature of production.

Nikitin K.V., Dyachkov V.N., Nikitin V.I., Biktimirov R.M., Barinov A.Yu., Yudin D.M. SSTU foundrymen – for 75th anniversary of the Great Victory
The article presents the results of manufacturing the cast product «Marshal's star» from bronze by investment casting with the use of additive manufacturing tools at the preparatory stages.
Keywords: Additive manufacturing, bronze, investment casting, refractory ceramic molds.
