Malinov L.S. Improving the properties of steels 35KhMFL and 70KhL
Data on improving the mechanical properties and abrasive wear resistance of steels 35KhML and 70KhL, as well as for their microalloyed analogues 35KhMFL and 75KhFTL, by obtaining metastable austenite in the structure, which undergoes dynamic deformation martensitic transformation – DDMT (the effect of self-hardening under loading – SHL) are presented. This is achieved by using non-standard technologies, including quenching from the intercritical temperature interval (ITI), from higher temperatures than the typical, environmentally friendly isothermal and interrupted quenching methods.
Keywords:Steel, metastable austenite, deformation martensite, effect self-hardening under loading, wear resistance.

Trapeznikov A.V., Leonov A.A., Vlasova K.A., Reshetnikov Y.V. Effect of HIP on thick-wall castings from Al-Si-Cu-Mg cast aluminum alloy
In thick-walled castings made by sand casting without exposure to external fields, gas porosity is inevitably present. The use of hot isostatic pressing made it possible to effectively reduce the porosity and improve the mechanical properties of the "Adapter" casting made of cuprous silumin AL4MS. It is shown that the use of hot isostatic pressing treatment according to the same regime as for thin-walled castings had practically no effect on the morphology of samples microstructure, but improved the mechanical properties of the alloy. The relative elongation increased from 0.5 to 2.5%.
Keywords:Aluminum alloy, silumin, elongation, heat treatment, hot isostatic pressing, microstructure.

Verin A.S. Ratio phases and strength of not alloyed Ni3Al.
It was found that material Ni-12Al obtained by DDS method on the different regime crystallization has a different ratio of ? phase and eutectic. This is strongly to reflect on the characteristics durability. The more dispersion parts of the eutectic phase into the first grid ? phase the higher the strength. Probably, it is into the small precipitations of the eutectic phase under tensile strength to arise a compress forces. This may be caused appearance of the cubic of dislocation sliding. The more this effect it is to show the higher strength at temperature increasing.
Keywords:Method DDS, alloy, primary grid, across sliding, strength.

Marukovich E.I., Stetsenko V.Y., Stetsenko A.V. Mechanisms of modification of single-phase bronzes
Modification of single-phase bronzes is a nanostructured process. The main demodifying element of single-phase bronze microstructures is adsorbed hydrogen. It prevents the formation of nuclei of crystallization of microcrystals ?-phases of single-phase tin and aluminum bronzes. Ti, Zr, B form compounds that adsorb and absorb dissolved hydrogen, reducing the concentration of adsorbed hydrogen. This contributes to the modification of single-phase bronze microstructures during their crystallization.
Keywords:Tin bronzes, aluminum bronzes, modification, nanocrystals, adsorbed hydrogen, crystallization.

Vaitsekhovich S.M., Vlasov Y.V. Systematization of SHS-barothermy product
The article systematizes the SHS of combustion products both after a thermal explosion or layer-by-layer combustion of solid chemical compounds, and after coating as a result of gas transport reactions. Summary tables of possible combinations of SHS products and reagents (metals and mixtures) from metals from II to VIII groups of Mendeleev periodic system, in accordance with the third principle of physical and chemical analysis – the principle of compatibility – and, taking into account their phase transformations at high pressures.
Keywords:Composite materials, hard alloys synthesis, SHS-barothermy, Mendeleev periodic system, synthesis products, heterogeneous systems, combustion, SHS modes, melting point, crystal lattice, metal powders, single-phase solid solutions and hard alloys, briquettes.

Kadochnikov S.V., Nuraliev N.F. Leucoxene concentrate – a promising filler for non-stick paints for steel and iron castings
General information about the material of mineral origin, leucoxene concentrate, is presented. This material is considered as a refractory base for non-stick coatings of rods and molds for steel and iron castings. The results of the grain-size analysis of the leucoxene concentrate powders of the Yaregskoye deposit are presented.
Keywords:Cast steel, cast iron, non-stick coatings, refractory filler, rutile.

Yantovsky A.V., Tkachenko S.S., Emelyanov V.O., Ioffe M.A., Farisov R.D. Resources cost escalation as an incentive for the development of mechatronic-modular production of machine tools
The annual and prospect increase in the cost of resources (material resources and energy carriers) leads to an increase in the cost of castings and machine tools and to a degradation of their competitiveness. The trends in sparingness of the main and auxiliary materials and in the reduction of the time needed for production of machine tools due to a revolutionary approach to the design principles and manufacturing of basic parts from unified modular castings are proposed.
Keywords:Resources, sparingness, complexity, basic castings, unification of castings, modular machine-tool industry.

Strelnikov I.A., Illarionov I.E., Ivanova L.A. The use of modern slurry binders in investment casting
Features and advantages of investment casting method are considered. The sequence of operations in the manufacture of shell molds on the ethyl silicate and liquid glass binders is given. The process of manufacturing the ethyl silicate is described. The use of "Sialit 20" silica sol as a binder is considered, application of which simplifies the process of manufacturing a refractory suspension and ensures the stability of the quality of castings.
Keywords:Model, composition, refractory slurry, binder, shell mold, casting.
