Sapchenko I. G. et al. Properties of Thermit Steels Made of Metal-Making Waste
A method of efficient utilization of metal-making waste is being developed. The method is aimed at resolving the problem of shortage of charge materials in the foundry industry and improving the environmental parameters. The method consists in making cast metal products from waste that forms in the production of sectional "thermit" steels (Ст45Л, 35ХГСЛ, 110Г13Л and other). Information on a number of process properties of the products being made is given.

Zhiguts Y. Y. Use of High-Alloy Thermit Steels for Feeding of Castings
The given paper deals with the problems of the synthesis of manganese's steel by me-tallothermy. On the basis of investigated method of calculations structures of charges have been arranged and steels have been synthesized further. Peculiarities metallothermic smelting were found, mechanical properties and structure of received steels were "investigated.

Lasenko V. V. et al. Effect of Final Killing of Crack-Sensitive Steels on the Quality of Metal Products
The article discusses use of ferrotitanium for killing and microalloying refined high-alloy steels based on grade 20XH3A-III steel. It was found that ferrotitanium not only reduces costs of products made therefrom, but also enhances impact toughness at negative temperatures, crack resistance and processability, and can be recommended for the production of critical parts to be operated under heavy loading conditions at considerable dynamic, alternating, cyclic and impact loads.

Gushchin V. N. et al. Improvement of Qualitative Characteristics of Steel by Applying Elastic Vibrations on Melts in Ladles
Effect of electrohydroimpulsive treatment (EHIT) of melt at different methods and modes of introducing elastic vibrations on the refinement of melt in ladles and the qualitative characteristics of steel ingots have been analyzed. The obtained results confirm the effectiveness of using the EHIT technology and the availability of its development in combination with other methods of external action.

Bochenin V. I. X-Ray Radiometric Control of Pertlite Content in Malleable Iron
The article presents a radioisotope X-ray fluorescence method of determining manganese in wear-resistant cast iron with subsequent evaluation of perlite content by a correlation equation. Its physical essence is based on the development of an experimental sensor with a moving selective chromium filter, which allows to register the characteristic K-irradiation of iron as an internal standard. The applicability of the method in the industrial version allows to reduce product rejects.

Sedelnikov V. V. A Particular Case of Fluctuating Crystal Nucleation. Part 1
Experimental data in a particular case of fluctuational nudeation in Liquid solutions from two centres are reported. These centres are the fields with maximum and minimum density of the solution. As a result the fluctuational (wave) interaction of these two centres, the fields of increased density (concentration) are created and hours-lonq nucleation takes place in them.

Baranov D. A. Forming of Spherical Graphite In elusions during Plastic Deformation of Cast Iron
On the basis metallographic of the analysis of structural changes occurring at processing by pressure of high-strength pig-iron, the mechanism of plastic deformation and destructions of spherical graphite is analyzed. Is shown, that in forming graphitic of inclusions the large role is played by orientation of pyramids concerning the enclosed pressure, sliding in basic planes, displacement of pyramids along borders and education of microcracks. The ways of increase deformability of high-strength pig-iron are considered.
