Chichko A.A. et al. Physico-Chemical Model of Optimizing Slag Conditions of Melting Process for Steel-Melting Arc Furnaces
The model for the melt slag regime was developed. This model can calculate both the phosphorus distribution between slag and steel and the MgO solubility as a function of slag chemistry and temperature. The model can be used for the optimization of the both slag chemistry and quantity, the lowering of lime consumption and the optimization of lime supply regime.

Stetsenko V.Yu. Origination of Gas Bubbles during Crystallization of Metal and Alloy Phases
The thermodynamic analysis of processes of origin gas on substrates of a various composition and curvature is given. It is shown, that the most effective centres of formation and growth of bubbles at a solidification of metals and alloys are surfaces of the basic crystallized phases with smaller radius of curvature. Nonmetallic inclusions as compared to metal phases are less preferable for origination and growth of gas bubbles.

The perspectives of applying the technology of reaction mechanical alloying for high-resistant nano-structural dispersion-strengthed materials with special properties based on metals have been shown in the work, the technological process of their obtaining, compound and properties have been optimized.
