Kanunnikova S.G., Zhukebayeva T. Zh., Murzakhmetova A.A., Dostayeva A.M. Peculiarities of Formation and Methods of Evaluation of Blast-Furnace Iron Structure
The article discusses the peculiarities of formation and methods of evaluation of blastfurnace iron structure. The method of evaluating iron by macrostructure is taken as a basis in the work. While doing the work there arose the necessity of prйcising some peculiarities of crystallization of blast-furnace iron in the ingot mold walls, since there are no probe-tested and generally acceptedmethods of evaluating the structure of blast-furnace iron, investigations in that direction were carried out. The article presents a characteristic of cast iron structures, as well as that of graphite inclusions in blastfurnace iron.

Kononchuk S.V., Sabirzyanov T.G. Improving Cupola Operation by Investigating into the Interrelationship between Cupola Process Parameters
Offered to recommendation for improvement of coke oven cupola furnaces by means a mathematical model. Results of calculation by the mathematical model of the process cupola good agreement with the experimental data to confirm its adequacy and can be used to determine the relationship between the parameters of cupola melting, as well as in solving the problems of forecasting and optimization cupola process.

The paper presents a review of the literature on the problem of improving the properties of aluminum casting alloys: grain refining by Al-Ti, Al-Ti-B, TiB2 particles, the effect of electromagnetic stirring. Present description of structural elements of experimental melting and casting setup for non-ferrous metals with electromagnetic stirring.

Petrushin N.V., Yelyutin Y.S., Nazarkin R.M., Kolodochkina V.G., Fesenko T.V. Structure and Properties of Single Crystals of a Heat-Resistant Nickel Alloy Containing Rhenium and Ruthenium
The investigations included: characterization of the superalloy microstructure, dendritic segregation of alloying elements, temperature of ??-solvus, solidus temperature, liquidus temperature, ??-volume fraction, ?-lattice spacing, ??-lattice spacing, ?/??-misfit. Mechanical properties of the single crystals Ni-base superalloy of fifth generation with <001>, <011>, <111> crystallographic orientation test were performed in the temperature interval of 20…1200°C. Creep rupture test were performed in the temperature 1100°C.

Neiman A.V., Filonova Y.V., Iskhodzhanova I.V. On the Local Recrystallization in Single Crystals of Heat-Resistant Nickel Alloys
Coolable single-crystal blades with an internal cavity of an intricate geometry are exceptionally critical products for aircraft. Possible presence of recrystallized areas in single-crystal blades of heat-resistant nickel alloys causes a number of problems in the operation of those products in gas-turbine engines. Due to absence of grain boundary strengthening carbides in the structure of such alloys, a single-crystal blade becomes vulnerable in the areas, where recrystallization occurred, and new grains formed. The authors investigated the kinetics and anisotropy of recrystallization in singlecrystal specimens of heat-resistant nickel alloys of the 4th generation.

Laskovets V.V., Gavrilyuk V.P., Gzovsky K.Y. Effect of Titanium on the Structure, Hot Tearing Susceptibility and Mechanical Properties of AlCu6.8Mn0.65 Alloy
The influence of the titan the structure, formation of hot cracks and the increased mechanical properties of AlCu6,8Mn0,65 alloys is considered. It is established that dependences of parameters of structure, tendency to formation of hot cracks and mechanical properties of an alloy on the maintenance of the titan aren't monotonous, and have extrema.

Bardin I.V., Bautin V.A., Dub A.V., Poddubny A.N. Microarc Oxidizing
Historical background of discovery the method of microarc oxidation of materials, advantages as compared with anodizing and the main conceptions of process mechanism were described at this work. The simultaneous existence of three types of microarc discharges (outer, inner and gaseous microarc discharges) and influence of these discharges on the formation of coating under microarc oxidation of aluminium alloys were shown in this work. The possible cause of formation of through pores in the microarc coating also was shown.

Tikhonov A.K. The Main Development Directions of Heat Treatment in Russia
The current state of billet heat treatment processes at various plants in Russia, including automobile plants - by the example of AvtoVAZ, is analyzed. The main heat treatment technologies are characterized.

Andreyev D.Y., Sanin V.N., Yukhvid V.I. Selfspreading High-Temperature Synthesis Metallurgy of Cast Intermetallides
Possibility of producing cast titanium aluminides by the method of selfspreading high-temperature synthesis was investigated in the work. Introduction of a high-energy CaO2+Al addition to the Ti-Al-Nb mixture in the combination with exposure to overload allows to produce cast alloys with different component ratios therein.
