Abramov A.A. Aluminium-titanium-boron alloying composition as an effective grain modifier for cast aluminum alloys
The process of modification of cast aluminum alloys with various grain modifiers was investigated and the efficiency of the Al-5%Ti-1%B triple master alloy is shown.
Keywords:Aluminum alloys, casting, modification, master alloy, structure, properties.

Batyshev K.A., Demyanov E.D., Khovanskaya V.A., Georgievsky M.G. Remelting low-grade raw materials using complex fluxes to produce secondary al alloys
The use of Al secondary alloys in industry is very important; therefore it is so important to use all wastes of Al alloys, even low-grade ones. At the same time, an important aspect is refining and the use of modern complex fluxes for processing of non-ferrous alloys.
Keywords:Al low-grade raw material, combined flux, melting, resistance furnace, environmental friendliness.

Minenko G.N. Features of the Processing of an Aluminum-Matrix Composite by an Electric Field
The article describes a method of electrical action on an aluminum matrix composite. A change in the features of obtaining a composite with the specified strength properties is revealed. The mechanism of changing the composite structure under the influence of an electric field is described.
Keywords:Aluminum matrix composite, electric field, structure, strength properties.

Djakonov O.M., Litvinko A.A., Sereda V.Ju. Estimation of quality of hot pressed briquettes as a type of metallurgical charge materials
The basic principles of construction are formulated in the work and a description of the technological process of hot briquetting of ferrous metal waste as a way of converting fine metal particles into a dimensional semi-finished product of a given size and chemical composition is given. The description of equipment for the implementation of this process with highly efficient non-oxidizing heating and complete safe neutralization of flue gases is given. The results of melting of hot-pressed briquettes in various melting units are presented. It is shown that briquettes cleaned from coolant with a density of 6500…7100 kg/m3 are full-fledged substitutes for bulk scrap.
Keywords:Hot, briquetting, metal, cast iron, steel, shavings, briquette, smelting, technology, modes, equipment, production.

Davydov S.V. Diagram of the state of alloys the system iron-carbid ?-Fе2C. Part 2. Physico-chemical identification of carbide phases
It is shown that the whole set of structural organization of phases (alloys) on the "iron-carbon" diagram from 6.67% C (cement O-Fe3C) to 9.7% C (carbide ?-Fe2C) can be characterized as a single isomorphic quasicarbide solid solution, which includes the introduction phases of the stoichiometric compositions of O-Fe3C cement, Hegg carbide ?-Fe5C2, Extreme-Adcoccus carbide ?-Fe7C3 and ?-Carbide Fe2C. Since the solid cement slurry cannot be a component of the alloy state diagram, the component of the diagram is a chemical compound of bertolide ?-Fe2C and the "iron-cement" diagram can be renamed to the "iron-carbide ?-Fe2C" alloy state diagram in the concentration region 0...9.7% C with good reason.
Keywords:Cementite O-Fe3C, ?-Carbide Fe2C, Hegga carbide ?-Fe5C2, Extreme-Adcocca carbide ?-Fe7C3, bertollide, daltonide, isomorphic quasicarbide solid solution.

Malinov L.S., Malinov V.L., Burova D.V. Normalization of low-current steels with residence in the intercritical interval of temperatures
It is shown that normalization of the investigated low-carbon low-alloy steels with holding in the intercritical temperature range (ITR) increases the mechanical properties in comparison with the normalization carried out according to the standard technology. The highest level of mechanical properties of steels is achieved by carrying out normalization with heating above Ac3 to a typical austenitizing temperature before or after holding in ITR.
Keywords:Normalization, intercritical temperature range, mechanical properties

Verin A.S. Dosing at directional solidification of Ni3Al intermetallic compound
Working of process directed crystallization it is containing in its base probability dosed and controllability pouring of the melt metal into ceramic mold heated over point melting of metal. For this aim it can be used formulas Lagrang, Laplace and differential operator which allow to make process mathematical modeling of containing of the aluminum into solid-liquid zone of the growing casting.
Keywords:Phase, formula, modeling, microstructure, strength.

Semenov K.G. Castings made of low-doped copper-iron alloys
Innovative technologies of the mechanical engineering predetermine the development of low-doped copper-based alloys, which have good thermal and electrical conductivity combined with high mechanical and operational properties. Low-doped alloys based on copper and iron are promising materials as substitutes for chromium bronzes for the development and design of modern mechanical engineering products manufactured by casting technology.
Keywords:Innovative technologies, low-doped alloys, copper, iron, castings, casting methods.

Doroshenko V.S. Lost foam casting process
The complex application of friable sands in the full-form casting technology made it possible to design a casting as a metal structure that is generated in the flowing sand environment and can be optimized according to nature's evolutionary algorithms. The friable sand also allows one to remove a hot casting from the casting mold for the subsequent heat treatment by various methods, in particular by quenching carried out by sand fluidization in the mold followed by isothermal holding in the hot sand. Such abilities of the friable molding sand serve as a prerequisite for the production of light-weight castings from high-strength alloys and new-generation alloys serving as adaptive materials with adjustable properties.
Keywords:Consumable patterns, castings, high-strength alloys, martensite.
