Andreev V.V. Application of alloys, containing rare-earth metals, for the increase of quality of cast iron castings
The efficiency and perspectives of application of spheroidizing alloys, containing rareearth metals, for the production of castings of high duty cast iron with vermicular and globular graphite is considered basing on the analysis of chemical composition of such alloys, produced commercially. It is shown, that ordinary Fe-Si-ÐÇÌ-alloys, such as FS30RZM30 (~ 30% RZM), allow to organize the production of cast iron with vermicular graphite for wide range of castings, which work under high temperatures and big thermocyclic stresses. High-cerium (25…30% Ñå), low-magnesium (2,5…3,0% Ìg and 12…15% rare-earth metals) are perspective for reliable production of cast iron with globular graphite. Complex spheroidizing new-generation modifiers, containing 5…7% Ìg; 2…4% rare-earth metals; 2…5% Ñà and 2…4% Âà, are perspective for largetonnage castings production.
Key words: High duty cast iron; vermicular and globular graphite, microstructure, mechanical qualities, large-tonnage castings.

Marukovich E.I., Ilushenko V.M., Pumpur V.A., Duvalov P.Yu., Andrienko V.M. Investigation of the modification of chromogenous irons for the castings in the sand and combined forms
The results of experimental studies to determine the influence of modification on the mechanical properties of high-chromium cast irons of the hypereutectic composition during sand casting and combined molds are described. When modifying with complex modifiers, the specific wear, hardness and flexural strength of the obtained samples were investigated, and their comparative analysis was performed. It has been established that the specific wear of all modified samples is almost two times less than that of unmodified ones. Production tests of the bump plates of eutectic cast iron and hypereutectic modified cast iron were carried out, a comparative analysis of the test results was carried out. It is established that the experimental samples from the modified hypereutectic cast iron are superior to the samples from the eutectic unmodified cast iron in the degree of wear. The results of the research were used for the manufacture parts of crushing and grinding equipment her.
Key words: Hypereutectic chromium iron, combined mold, send mold, modification of hypereutectic iron.

Pryakhin E.I., Bolobov V.I. Growing the durability of the ball mill linings by improving the process production of armor plates
Process solutions are proposed to improve significantly the wear resistance of the lining under all operation conditions of ball mills and when grinding different types of rock and, first of all, to strengthen the cast armors due to the use of high-temperature thermomechanical processing before installing them into the ball mills. This recommendation is supported by the data of the authors' research on the nature of changes in the strength and wear resistance of 110G13L steel at the high-temperature thermomechanical processing. Another solution is the replacement of all-cast slabs with combined plates having inserts made from highly rigid materials – white iron and tool steel, and the matrix – from 110G13L steel after high-temperature thermomechanical processing.

Shinsky O.I., Maksyuta I.I., Kvasnitskaya Yu.G., Neima A.V., Mikhnyan E.V. Production of GTU blades from a new heat-resistant alloy in ceramic forms using removable foamed polystyrene models
The possibilities of using casting on dissolvable expanded polystyrene (EP) models into shell complex-modified forms of the developed heat-resistant alloy intended for obtaining directionally crystallized GTE parts, including working blades, are examined. For the group of solvents the parameters of the process of dissolution and removal of different types of EP are determined. It is shown a reduction in roughness, absence of depletion of the contact layer of casting – a form, which made it possible to obtain parts with a given level of performance characteristics and reduce the cost of machine processing.

The paper shows the use of injection molding technology of metal powder mixtures (MIM-technology) and 3D-printing technology in the foundry. To reduce the cost of production of parts, it is proposed to use powders with larger particles. For the production of green part on the technology of manufacturing molten filament (Fused Filament Fabrication – FFF), developed a new composition of the filament.
