Isagulov A.Z., Ibatov M.K., Suleimenov T.S., Kvon Sv.S., Kulikov V.Yu., Arinova S.K. Heat-resistant alloy development for casting of furnace equipment parts
High heat-resistant properties remain an important issue for metallurgical equipment parts. Fe-Ni-Cr system with alloying additives Al, Nb, Mo, B is proposed as base system. Studies of casting properties were carried out. From the obtained castings "Furnace Roller" samples were made for research of a number of properties: long-term strength, hardness, impact toughness, as well as the microstructure of the alloy was studied. The results of the studies showed an improvement in properties compared to the base alloy by an average of 15%.

Zatulovsky A.S., Lakeev V.A., Shcheretsky V.A. Heterogeneous cast composites reinforced with macroelements and endogenous particles
The article describes the process of production of new materials by changing the production technology of cast metal matrix composite materials and their reinforcing with steel particles. The overheating of the matrix alloy and an increase in its holding time resulted in the possibility to manufacture new materials with properties that cannot be obtained by other methods, in particular, increased antifriction characteristics.

Huminski Yu.Yu., Rovin S.L. Application of a liquid glass binder modified by ultra-dispersed materials
The results of the research of autoclave modification of liquid glass with carbon-containing ultra-dispersed materials are considered, on the basis of which, easily-knockout liquid glass molding and core mixtures are made. The mechanism of the influence of an ultra-dispersed modifier on the structure and properties of a liquid-glass binder is presented. The results of testing of liquid glass mixtures based on liquid glass modified with ultra-dispersed materials are described.

Sadokha M.A. Improving the efficiency of production of castings by special casting methods
The options for increasing the efficiency of manufacturing castings by using new technologies are considered. The options for reducing costs in the foundry are given. Examples of casting production are presented.

Zarubina O.A., Zarubin A.M. Features of the manufacture of chill castings using the upper gating systems
The advantages of the upper gating systems are analyzed and the reasons limiting the scope of their application when casting Al alloys in the chill mold are examined. Some examples of castings manufactured with the use of upper gating systems are given. After processing the results of numerical simulation of the chill mold pouring, the requirements to the organization of the process of filling the chill molds with Al alloys using the upper gating systems are formulated, and the possibility of using washers to reduce the possibility to damage the castings by oxide films and their fragments is shown. The article deals with the technology used in the production of castings in a single and small-scale production.

Ponomarenko О.I., Kosenko O.P., Shvets M.V., Yevtushenko S.D. Production of non-technological casting of shaft equipment using CAD/CAE-programs
A possibility of using three-dimensional design programs to produce a low-tech high-quality casting guide for mine equipment, which was presented in a 3D system using Solid Works and LWMFlow software, is shown. A number of technological solutions allowed to eliminate the appearance of cracks in the casting, and the installation of exothermic casting heads – to increase the efficiency of the gating-and-feeding system, as well as to reduce shrinkage defects, casting headmetal consumption and technological allowances for machining of casting headareas, made it possible to set casting headson any surface without disturbing the casting configuration. The developed technological process was mastered at one of the foundry enterprises of Ukraine.
