An effect of cooling units on the structure and properties of chrome irons is analyzed. Recommendations on optimization of the cast iron composition and parameters of the cooling units used are elaborated.

Martyushev N.V., Bashev V.S. Effect of 12 silumin modification with ultradispersed tungsten powder
At present, broad application of silumins in mechanical engineering is limited due to comparably lower strength properties of these materials. The most common method to obtain uniform structure and improve mechanical properties consists in the modification of these alloys with particles of various chemical composition. In this paper, the effect of introducing the ultradispersed W powder, which had been preliminary activated and wetted with Cu powder in planetary ball mill, in the amount of 0,010,5 wt. % on the structure, the phase state and the mechanical properties of the 12 alloy was investigated. It was established that the optimum additive is 0,1 wt. % W+Cu, as far as it results in the uniform eutectic distribution (?-Al+Si), smaller plates of the eutectic Si, change in shape of coarse plates and improvement of mechanical properties. Further treatment with the ultradispersed W powder allows for reducing the amount of the deposited powder from 30 to 6%.

Vasenin V.I., Bogomiagkov A.V., Sharov K.V. Investigation of the work of the vertical branched
Theoretical and experimental studies of complicated gating system (GS) vertical branced system. The description of laboratory version such system is provided. Theory of calculating of flow speed and liquid flow rate, depending on the quantity of at the same time working feeders are stated. For the first time ist uncovered that in system by definite quantity working feeders the liquid not pour from feeder but walkes through runner to next feeder. It is means who in this place in stream pressure lower atmospheric pressure and atmospheric pressure none permit pour from feeder. But self system none strike computation by Bernoullis equation (BE). It is explains that BE leads out for GS with one feeder, but we use him for calculations of gating systems with many feeders, possibility none demonstrate theoretical. Such system it is necessary examination numerical methods.

Verbitsky V.I. Characteristics of processes and systems for compaction of molding sand by air pulse
A system of power, speed and energy characteristics of pulsed molding processes and devices is proposed. This system characterizes the processes of energy conversion and transformation of forces more fully than previously used individual characteristics and parameters. Using the system of characteristics allows you to consistently assess the excellence of individual PIFS and outline ways to improve them.

Pugachev I.A., Volodin A.I. Development of technology and production of a pilot product cultivator blade
In the article described the technology process of creating a pilot casting product cultivator blade with application of computer modeling and additive technologies. The results of computer modeling are presented, as well as the main steps of making casting model equipment with using additive 3D printing technologies and producing a cast arrow shaped cultivator blade with self-sharpening effect of cutting edges.
