Gushchin N.S., Takhirov A.A., Nuraliev N.F. The impact-abrasive wear resistance of high-alloy nickel-chromium nodular graphite iron
The conditions to provide high impact-abrasive wear resistance of high-alloy nickel-chromium iron have been studied. The factors determining the impact-abrasive wear resistance in the cast state were analyzed. It was shown that the ChKh8N4FSh iron doped with small additions of V, Ti, and B has a consistently high impact-abrasive wear resistance over the entire thickness (150 mm) of the casting.

Belov E.V., Trapeznikov A.V., Vlasova K.A., Prokhorchuk E.A. About features of refining and modifying on silumin`s structure and properties
On the basis of the conducted research, the regularities of structure formation of silumin AK7ch castings are considered and the influence of the main parameters of the technological process on the properties of castings is estimated. The authors summarize their own and literary experimental data in order to find out the mechanism of modification of foundry Al-Si alloys. The main regularities of formation of the regulated structure of silumin-type alloys are shown. An explanation of the modification process in alloys from a single point of view is offered.

Uridiya Z.P., Duyunova V.A., Leonov A.A., Trofimov N.V. The influence of microregion on the mechanical properties of casting magnesium alloys
The article presents the results of research on the microstructure of high-temperature cast magnesium alloys of the magnesium-REM-zinc-zirconium system of ML10 and VML25 grades. Vml25 alloy is an analog of ML10 alloy in application, it has increased mechanical properties in the temperature range from –60 to +250°C. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the microstructure of the ML10 alloy generally corresponds to the typical microstructure of the alloy given in the regulatory documentation. The microstructure of the VML25 alloy is typical for the alloys of this system. To increase the strength and heat resistance of alloy ВМЛ25 compared to the ML10 alloy it should be noted, appears as a positive effect of zinc, that participates in additional hardening of solid solution and formation of the main hardening phase, and the formation of thermally stable dispersed particles of intermetallic compounds formed in the aged hardened condition the alloy.

Abramov A.A. High-strength cast aluminum alloys. Successes and prospects. Part I. Classification and properties of high strength cast aluminum alloys
The article summarizes the experience of JSC «TsNIIM» in developing the production of critical castings by various casting processes from high-strength alloys. The results of the research of the operational safety of high-strength aluminum cast alloys are presented. Trends in the further research and development of cast aluminum alloys are formulated.

Strelnikov I.A., Pestryaev D.A., Sadetdinov Sh.V. Modification of technical lignosulfonates with some aminoborate complexes
Studies found out that the modification of technical lignosulfonates with aminoborate complexes such as triborate monoethanol ammonium [HOC2H4NH3]+·[B3O3(OH)4]-, pentaborate diethanol ammonium [(HOC2H4)2NH2]+·[B5O6(OH)4]- and pentaboratetriethanol ammonium [(HOC2H4)3NH]+·[B5O6(OH)4]- increases their binding properties and improves the processing characteristics of mixtures. Effective modified lignosulfonate binders and mixtures based on them were developed, which are recommended for the manufacture of molding and core sands used in the foundry industry.

The possibility of a more rational distribution of mechanical properties in gas turbine blades is investigated, which will significantly increase the life of the installation. At the beginning, the distribution of mechanical properties in the blade is determined in accordance with the usual technology. Analysis of this distribution will allow you to identify changes in individual parameters of standard technological modes. More precise implementation of casting and heat treatment processes allows changing the distribution of mechanical properties approaching the optimal one

Livshits V.B., Mamedova I.Yu., Zyabneva O.A. Features of the development of the art precision casting
The technologies for the manufacture of castings are considered, which combine the centrifugal metal pouring and the investment casting. When these methods are combined, the castings have a high density in addition to high dimensional accuracy and low surface roughness. The possibility to produce castings with a wall thickness of up to 0.3 mm is stated. Requirements to the ceramic molds, if casting is carried out into ethyl silicate-based shells, and to the design of centrifugal machines for producing castings from steels, high-temperature and non-ferrous alloys are given. Modern melting and casting equipment is described.
