Abramov A.A. High-strength cast aluminum alloys. Successes and prospects. Part II. Technological processes
The article summarizes the experience of JSC «TsNIIM» in developing the production of critical castings by various casting processes from high-strength alloys. The results of the research of the operational safety of high-strength aluminum cast alloys are presented. Trends in the further research and development of cast aluminum alloys are formulated.

Svinoroev Yu.A., Gutko Yu.I., Batyshev K.A., Semenov K.G. Accelerated hardening of mixtures with industrial lignosulfonates
The principles that must satisfy the conditions for the formation of a three-dimensional polymer chain from LST oligomers are formulated. The duration of the cycle of thermal exposure is determined experimentally. The research results show that the use of chemical and thermochemical activation methods leads to a significant reduction in the curing cycle (up to several minutes) of rod and molding mixtures with LST.

Makarenko K.V., Kuzovov S.S. On the influence of force interaction in the coating-casting – mold/rod for the formation of hot cracks
The influence of a special functional coating on the occurrence of friction forces in the "coating-casting – mold/rod" system and stresses in the solidifying hard metal crust, as well as their effect on the formation of hot cracks, is studied. The distribution of forces in the system "casting-coating – mold/rod" is studied. It is proved that the use of a functional coating based on chromite sand of a given fraction, which provides an increase in friction forces, can be used to disperse deformations at the initial stage of casting formation. Features of the technology of applying such a coating to the mold / rod allow it to work on the cut with an increase in shrinkage stresses along the "coating – form/rod" boundary. Thus, the step-by-step effect of the functional coating in the scheme of force interaction "casting-coating-form/rod" allows to prevent the formation of hot cracks in the local nodes of shaped steel castings.

Batyshev A.I. Surface alloying of castings made of iron-carbon alloys
The results of preliminary investigations of surface alloying of castings during investment casting are presented. The possibility of usage of such a casting technology in the production of castings from iron and steel is shown.

We study the features of the influence of the external heating temperature of the support filler on the probability of cracking in cold shell forms according to the smelted models when they are filled with steel.

Kovalyova T.V., Issagulov A.Z., Kulikov V.Yu., Kvon Sv.S. Effect of polystyrene model composition on properties of through cover casting
The impact of the proposed experimental composition of the gasified model and filling conditions on contamination with non-metallic inclusions of the "Through cover" casting was considered. The size of polystyrene granules, the effect of the number of evaporators and the rate of filling on the depth of carburization were examined. It was determined that to obtain a uniform pure ingot structure, the optimal composition of the model is as follows: foundry polystyrene – 58%, granules of secondary construction polystyrene – 42%; granules 1.3…1.9 mm for models with walls more than 15 mm thick; the need for 4 bulges depending on the size of the casting diameter.

Ilyukhin V.D., Monastyrsky A.V. Computer simulation of deformation dispersion in the hot crack control method
The article presents the design of the casting mold, the grade of the casting alloy based on aluminum and other technological parameters. The experiment shows a deformation distribution method of aluminum alloys during die-casting. A general description of the applied mathematical model of the stress-strain state of the casting is given, the simulation results are shown and their comparison with the experimental results.

Gruzman V.M. Team-based approach of the education process
It is argued that in modern conditions for the training of professionals it is necessary to use elements of the team-based approach, which has worked successfully for more than 10 years in the last century. The method was slandered and banned by the "successful manager" of totalitarianism, not for practical but for political reasons. Studying is also a labour and it has to correspond to its time. The team-based approach corresponds most closely to our mass civilization with its total division of labor, on the basis of which civilization achieved its enormous successes.
