Semenov K.G. Casting and processing properties of low-alloyed copper with iron additions
Casting and processing properties of low-alloyed copper with iron additions are described. The influence of iron additions (up to 1%) on the main casting properties of copper ? fluidity, shrinkage, porosity, and hot brittleness was assessed.
Key words:Low-alloyed copper, iron, alloying elements, casting properties, flowability, shrinkage, hot brittleness.

Bazhenov V.E., Plisetskaya I.V., Sannikov A.V., Titov A.Yu., Kolesnikov E.A., Koltygin A.V., Belov V.D., Yudin V.A. Investigation of resin bonded sand gas generation ability during its thermal degradation
The resin bonded sand samples were obtained using 3D printing with the furan resin system and the conventional molding with pep-set resin system. The samples were produced and held in the molding shop area of the JSC "Rubin Aviation Corporation" for 1, 2 and 5 days. The tensile strength, gas generation ability, and weight loss during heating of the samples were studied using thermogravimetric analysis after holding. For the samples obtained using the furan resin system, an increase in the holding time leads to a decrease in gas generation ability, while the gas generation ability of samples obtained using the pep-set resin system practically does not depend on the time has elapsed since their manufacture. The results of thermogravimetric analysis confirmed the results of the samples gas generation ability studies.
Key words:Resin bonded sand, gas generation ability, thermogravimetric analysis, binder jetting 3D printing, pep-set binder system, furan binder system.

Strelnikov I.A., Pestryaeva L.Sh., Sadetdinov Sh.V. An influence of thiocarbamide borate modifier on the strength of the molding mixture and the quality of castings made from magnesium alloys
One of the urgent tasks of the foundry is the development of a complex modifier, which ensures sufficient strength of molds manufactured by the alpha-set and furan processes, as well as high quality of castings made from ML19 alloy. The effect of potassium metaborate, thiocarbamide and thiocarbamide complex on the strength of the molding mixture has been studied. It is shown that the developed alpha-set and furan mixtures meet the requirements of the practical use in terms of processing characteristics in case of applying thiocarbamide borate modifier of the composition KBO2?N2H4CS and are recommended for the manufacture of molds when producing castings from Mg alloys.
Keywords:Alpha-set mixtures, furan mixtures, potassium metaborate, thiocarbamide, thiocarbamide borate complex, magnesium alloy, tensile strength, molding sand.

Batyshev A.I., Batyshev K.A., Semenov K.G. Casting of copper with crystallization under pressure
The results of a study of the solidification under mechanical pressure applied in the course of production of sleeve-type copper castings are presented. The influence of pressure (up to 250 MPa), temperature and time modes of casting process on the conditions of solidification, compaction kinetics and structure and properties of castings is shown.
Keywords:Copper, castings, solidification, pressure, compaction, structure, properties.

Livshits V.B., Kushnir A.P. Investigation of the structure and properties of silumin castings
The results of a study of the structure, physical and mechanical properties of AK9ch and AK7ch silumins made by pressure casting with counter pressure are presented. The effect of pressure on the structure dispersion and casting properties the cast state and after heat treatment is considered. The homogenization time at the quenching temperature was determined as 3 ... 6 hours. The maximum hardening at artificial aging of castings made from the alloys under investigation was determined.
Keywords:Pressure casting with counter pressure, castings, silumin, solidification, structure, mechanical properties, heat treatment, homogenization, aging.

Prokhorchuk E.A., Trapeznikov A.V., Larionov S.A., Sokolov A.V. Research and selection of the optimal filament composition for 3D printing of a foundry burnout model
This article discusses and selects materials for fired models using FDM technology. The development of filament (thread) production from the selected compositions (polymethyl methacrylates Dacryl 2M and Dakryl 81 and polystyrene grades PS 585 and UPS 825) was carried out. It has been established that Dacryl 2M, Dacryl 81 and PS 585 are not suitable for making thread. Polystyrene UPS 825 and a mixture of polystyrenes PS 585 and UPS 825 in equal proportions are suitable for producing a filament with a diameter of 1,75 mm. The ash content of the materials has been determined, showing that the compositions of HIPS 825 and Dacryl 81 are most suitable for the manufacture of burned-out models. The Vicat softening temperature and LTEC of polystyrene grade UPS 825 and the interaction of polystyrene grade UPS 825 with a ceramic mold were investigated.
Keywords:Burnout models, FDM technology, filament, ash content, softening point, linear thermal expansion coefficient, ceramic mold, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene.

Рорov А. Implementation of Laempe technologies at the iron foundry “LFP” in Poland for production of cast pumps and valves
The article describes the state of the pump and valve industry in Europe and its foundry production. The importance of high technical equipment of factories with modern foundry equipment for obtaining stable economic indicators and product export is shown. The article demonstrates the experience of a foundry in Poland as an example of the implementation of laws of economic security and renovation of foundry equipment.
Keywords:Pump castings, valves, automatic соку-making, Cold box amin-process, foundry modernization.

Gruzman V.M. Objective participant in production meetings annotation
A draft version of the software product has been developed, which provides objective information on the comparative influence of production factors of various dimensions and nature on the results of work for the time period under consideration. The product algorithm takes into account the probabilistic nature of operating performances in foundry. Material and financial investments in the development and debugging of monitoring of the industrial events implementation, and, most importantly, the personal interest of the head of the actual technical and economic system in an objective participant in production meetings will be required for the practical implementation of the program.

Sadokha M.A., Rovin S.L. Casting manufacture in small-scale and single-unit production
Foundry is a multidisciplinary industry of engineering, providing cast blanks from various metals and alloys. The seriality of production has a great impact on the efficiency and quality of the castings being received. Single-unit and small-scale foundry production is an important part of modern engineering. Structural analysis of casting technology is presented in the article, individual technological changes are considered both in terms of impact on the efficiency of casting, and in terms of high quality assurance at minimal cost. Taking into account the need for a single-unit and small-scale casting in the flexibility of the processes, schemes of organization of technological preparation of production and technological equipment are proposed. Examples of the equipment used are given.
