Atambaev G.N., Kvon S.S. Investigation of the structure of AChS-3 cast iron modified with titanium carbide
Metallographic analysis was carried out using Thixomet Pro software, factors such as the length and size of graphite inclusions, the area of graphite inclusions and the shape factor were studied. It was found that the introduction of titanium carbide in an amount of 0.2...0.3% by weight leads to a significant change in the characteristics of the graphite phase: the size of graphite plates decreases, the total area occupied by graphite, the shape of inclusions is simplified. Such changes in the structure lead to a decrease in the coefficient of friction and some increase in hardness.

It has been experimentally shown that directional solidification of water and liquid bismuth in glass and quartz cylindrical forms does not result in expansion of the castings perpendicular to the solidification direction. In this case, the shapes are not destroyed. This is due to the unobstructed release of gases during directional solidification of water and liquid bismuth. Directional solidification and the gas release process have a great influence on the expansion of castings during crystallization.

Illarionov I.E., Motkov A.V., Fedosov A.V., Strelnikov I.A. Optimization of the form of shrinkheads with a concentrator for steel castings
Based on the results of the consideration of the resulting fields, the required criteria for choosing the optimal size of the concentrator for profits of small and medium volume are determined. Parametric relationships between the base profit and concentrator are formalized. A full-scale experiment was carried out using the obtained calculated values for the selection of a concentrator, in order to optimize the operation of the profit. Positive results were obtained for the range of castings with a high level of defectiveness, manufactured under the production conditions of the Rostov Foundry Plant (RLZ).

The results of modifying of AK7pch aluminum alloy with a powder reagent are presented. Powder modifying agent based on titanium fluorides and boron fluorides, as well as powder reagent and AK7pch alloy chip scraps in the ratio 1/1 were used.

Verin A.S. The raid of ways stabilization of technical process of not alloyed Ni3Al with help mathematical modeling
Using of method of mathematical modeling of optimum the microstructure of not alloyed Ni3Al allows to stabilize technological process DDS (dosed directional solidification). Obtaining of the data for mathematical modeling it is narrowly to tie with research of microstructure. The criterion for determination of limitations of the fluctuation of the atoms aluminium into solid liquid area appear the volume of precipitation surplus eutectic. The many this volume, the smaller limitations for substitution into formula of Lagrang.

Sinyagin V.E. Elimination of pores and shrinkage shells in injection castings
The main defects of shrinkage and gas origin (cavities, porosity) in aluminum alloy castings produced by injection molding are shown. Measures capable to reduce the above defects have been proposed, among which are improving the quality of the poured melt and the improvement of feeding elements - feeders, flushing cavities, etc.

Sand preparation is a complex process and its main function is the formation of a set of properties of the sand. To date, the classification of mixing equipment includes several dozen types of mixers. Therefore, the actual task is to develop mixers that will consume as little energy as possible, and the process of preparing the mixture was the most efficient. No less important is the process of designing mixing equipment, which must take into account many design parameters. Therefore, the development of a computer-aided design system for a specific type of mixer can facilitate this task.
