Boldyrev D.A. On the problem of standardization of hybrid cast iron with nodular and vermicular graphite
The logical conclusion of the previously performed studies of hybrid cast iron with spherical and vermicular graphite is its standardization, within the framework of which a range of grades should be determined starting with high-strength cast iron with a strength of over 350 MPa with an increase in the content of perlite in the metal base. The release of the state standard (GOST) for this type of cast iron should be preceded by the release of several local production standards of the organization (OST) at large machine-building enterprises with their subsequent unifying processing.
Keywords: Hybrid cast iron with spherical and vermicular graphite, standardization.

Verin A.S. DDS process at government of yield stress of not alloyed Ni3Al
At alternation of dendritic and vidmanshtettic srtuctures along of axis ingot in not alloyed of said intermetallid obtained by dosed directional solidification (DDS) method it was exposed strongly overfall of data of yield stress of this intermetallid at the room temperature. Probably, it was connected with character of born of the crack appearance of which to depend from structure and phase alloy ensuring under deformation of exchange of the plane of sliding dislocations into intermetallid.

Considered especially metallurgical smelting nickel and low nickel alloys for cast billets. The technological aspects of the deep deoxidation nickel alloys by means of complex deoxidizer. Considered protective coating fluxes proposed composition of the new technological flux containing graphite chips. Flux is proposed, instead of battlefield or window glass bottle, which is more effective and technologically easy to operate.

Miteva L.D., Titov A.Yu. Study of the effect of pulling rate of antifriction C92900 bronze obtained by upcasting on the mechanical properties
The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of pulling speeds of C92900 bronze ingots 15 and 25 mm obtained by up casting on the mechanical properties. The mechanical properties and microstructure of C92900 bronze at different drawing speeds have been studied.
Keywords: Antifriction bronze, continuous up casting, mechanical properties.

Kulikov S.A., Rudnitsky F.I., Shumigay V.A. Influence of the granulometric composition of molding sands on the strength of core manufactured by the Cold box amin process
The article discusses the results of studies of various molding sands used or use at OJSC «MTW». It is shown that Belarusian molding sand is practically not inferior to imported molding sands. A comparison was made of the strength of rods manufactured using the Cold box amin-process depending on the granulometric composition of the molding sand. It has been established that a concentrated grain composition, compared to a dispersed one, allows one to obtain higher values of instantaneous strength; after 24 hours the strength levels out.
Keywords: Molding sand, quality, core mixture.

Rizhsky A.A., Bazhenov V.E., Abdulazizov M.B., Anishchenko A.S. Investigation of new powders for molds 3D printed using the inkjet additive manufacturing technology
This paper investigates the properties of refractory powders that are potentially suitable for the manufacture of casting molds by 3D printing using the furan binder process. The shape, size distribution and chemical composition of refractories were studied, in conjunction with strength tests involving samples of cold-hardening mixtures on resin-bonded samples based on studied refractories. Chromite and synthetic corundum sands showed high strength (1.1 and 0.8 MPa, respectively). Corundum sand, with a main fraction size of 0.2 mm, has both a greater uniformity of particles and a less developed surface than chromite sand. The strength of resin bonded samples, based on cenospheres (ASM, hollow aluminosilicate microspheres) was found to be unsatisfactory. Simultaneously, ASM has two superior qualities, namely the size of the main fraction being 0.1 mm, as well as high circularity of the particles.
Keywords: Additive manufacturing, 3D printing, resin bonded mixtures.

Kovalyova T.V., Isagulov A.Z. Investigation of carburization depth of castings produced by gasified models
Carburization of the surfaces of steel castings produced by gasifying models is one of the main and most significant problems in the application of this casting method. It has been determined that the complex composition of the cast and construction polystyrenes model in a ratio 60:40% contributes to a decrease in the carburization depth and a decrease in the percentage of internal defects. In addition, the cost of 1 kg of models of complex composition is 25% lower than the cost of 1 kg of models made of cast polystyrene.
Keywords: Casting on gasified models, steel casting, polystyrene, carburization.

Yurov V.V., Tsyganov I.A., Kuznetzov B.S., Pripadcheva N.A. Investigation of the destruction of quartz sand after lost foam casting
This article presents a study of destruction of quartz sand used as a molding material for lost foam casting. A comparison of the grain shape of the molding mixture after a different number of casting cycles was carried out. Using the electron microscopic method of investigation, various types of destruction of the grains of the molding mixture were identified and fine particles were detected. Micr-ray spectral analysis determined the chemical composition of the surface of quartz sand, fine particles, destruction sites.
Keywords: Molding mixture, lost foam casting, scanning electron microscopy, destruction, contamination molding mixture, micro X-ray spectral analysis.

Ovchinnikova A.O., Furman E.L., Furman I.E., Son V.Yu., Boltrushko D.S. On the formation of non-metallic inclusions on artistic castings obtained by the lost wax casting
This work presents the results of a study of the mechanism of occurrence of such a defect in artistic and engineering casting as non-metallic inclusions. The contact angles of the popular imported model composition for art and jewelry casting with different types of binders used for LVM were studied, namely GS-20 and the now popular aqueous binder «Armosil». The process of spreading a suspension over a substrate of a jewelry model composition was studied using a high-speed camera using two different methods. The resulting patterns were presented in the form of graphs. At the end of the article, a method for minimizing the appearance of non-metallic inclusions in art and engineering castings is given.
Keywords: Lost wax casting, art casting, binder, contact angle, spreading

Yudin D.M., Tikhonova A.V., Piyashkin N.A. Improving the efficiency of the production of additive manufacturing facilities
The article considers the competitiveness of shaped casting as the main product of foundry production, determined by an optimal combination of various factors. Currently, additive technologies based on the principle of direct supply of energy’ and material (Fused Deposition Modeling) are being used to obtain castings using smelted models, which allow optimizing the process and reproducing models of more complex geometry.

Khilkov D.E., Petrenko A.V., Korotchenko A.Yu., Tverskoy M.V. Investigation of the influence of sand grades on the properties of molds made by layer-by-layer cultivation
The paper examines the influence of sand grades on the technological properties of molds made by the method of layer-by-layer cultivation. The brands of three sand samples provided by Sibelco Rus LLC have been determined. The values of strength, gas permeability, and crumblability of test samples for each brand of sand are determined. Samples for determining technological properties were obtained by layer-by-layer cultivation on a VoxelJet printer. Conclusions and recommendations on the use of sands of different brands for printing single sand molds are made.
