Davydov S.V. New Cast Iron Inoculation Technologies
It is shown that the structural state of castiron melt is determined by carbon. Three levels of structural self-organization of melt and three methods of inoculation: nano-phase, nano-heterogeneous, and thermodynamic have been singled out. Analysis of inoculants being used is given.

Chumanov I.V., Porsev M.A. About the influence vanadium for the grain of molten steel 110G13
The results of disquisitions by observation of the influence vanadium for the value of the grain of molten steel 110G13L describe in the work. Show that the availability in steel 0,15 percent of V already grates substantially relevant of the structure of austenite. The mechanism of the influence of additives V for the value of the grain and some features of steel examines in short. Reducing some arguments that telling about the affirmative influence of additives V on mechanical qualities of molten steel 110G13L.

Vorona Y.A. On the Issue of Cutting Prime Cost of Electroslag Metal
The high prime cost of the metal which is got as a result electroslag refining process is conditioned significant expenses at spent electrodes getting process. With economic standpoint it's perspective to develop further ways of spent electrodes getting process by method of pouring in special moulds. One of the ways of prime cost reduction ESR metal is shaping spent electrodes with using of iron-rich pellets. The given work considers questions, connecting with using of iron-rich pellets in the electroslag refining process.

Borisov A.G., Semenchenko A.I., Tsir T.G. Relatively competition of grains during casting formation using method of directional solidification
Competitive growth of grains during directional solidification was inestigated. Regularities of behavior of grain boundary depending on orientation of bicrystal relatively thermal gradient direction and mutual orientation of crystals in bicrystal were found. Application of regularities obtained for production of textured casting with complex shape was proposed.

Makarenko K.V. , Ilushkin D.A. Effect of Graphite Phase on Degradation Processes in Cast Irons
With use of methods of computer modeling processes of distribution of stress in cast irons are studied. The general laws of influence of the form of graphite inclusions on processes of distribution of stress in a metal matrix cast iron are defined. The carried out analysis has shown that on destruction processes cast iron with spherical graphite essential influence renders distribution of graphite inclusions.

In work laws of influence of copper and silicon on factor of linear expansion of aluminium are considered. An established fact of strong action of silicon on factor of linear expansion of alloys aluminium-copper that can render in the further significant influence on practical development of light alloys with small thermal expansion. It is revealed, that application of copper for reception of alloys with controllable thermal expansion can be quite comprehensible.

Nazaratin V.V., Romashkin A.N., Ivanov I.A., Malginov A.N. Procedure of Designing Forging Ingots without Axial Shrinkage Defects
A procedure of designing geometrical and technological parameters of making large forging ingot castings without shrinkagerelated axial defects with sound and uniform metal structure over its entire cross-section has been proposed. The designing results agree well with experimental data obtained on real ingots. It is recommended to revise the norms of designing large forging ingots contained in OST 108.962.02.-85 standard as obsolete and failing to ensure the current level of product quality requirements.
