Abstracts:

Grachev V.A. Production of high quality cast iron in a gas cupola furnace
The author has conducted physicochemical studies of the cast iron smelting processes in cupola furnaces. A design of gas cupola furnaces and a technology of smelting high quality cast iron in gas cupolas have been proposed. The technical properties and gas content of cast irons produced in coke and gas cupola furnaces have been investigated. It has been demonstrated that the properties of the cast iron from gas cupola furnaces were higher, and its structure and composition were more fitting for a compressor sheet, which has been achieved by decreasing the detrimental sulfur content and by appropriate content of nitrogen and oxygen in the microstructure of solidified cast iron.

Demidovich V.B., Khatsayuk M.Yu., Maksimov A.A., Timofeyev V.N., I.I. Rastvorova. Research process of formation the liquid phase in cylindrical blank from Ti-alloy in the electromagnetic field
By coupling ANSYS and Fluent developed a numerical model of the melting process of the cylindrical blank in variable electromagnetic field. The calculation of the melting process is per-formed by the «enthalpyporosity» method with application of model of turbulent flows of k- ? SST in non-stationary setting. Electromagnetic sources of momentum and heat were determined by solving the finite element harmonic tasks on the magnetic vector potential in the system inductor – blank on everyone iterations of a hydrodynamic task. On the basis of the model calculation and the analysis of physical processes at uncrucible melting of a Tialloy.

Nikitin V.I., Nikitin K.V. Influence of casting process conditions on monocrystal structure parameters of new high-temperature alloys
Analysis of the problem of modification of aluminum alloys based on the phenomenon of structural heredity was carried out. New study results on the effect of microcrystalline modifiers on the properties of silumins and magnalium given. High efficiency genetic modification of aluminum alloys is shown.

This article reviwed and analyzed the types of fluxes for aluminium alloys. Classification of fluxes for other purposes (refining, modification, decontamination, protection of alloy, gas) and state of aggregation (gaseous and solid) and their main components with contents in weight percentage. Describes the role of oxygen, fluoride and chloride salts in the production of aluminum alloys, the benefits of using tablets and powdered fluxes, as well as the technology they use.

Jandieri G., Sakhvadze D., Gordeziani G., Shteinberg A. Productivity increase of SHS-compaction process of functionally-gradient materials of system Ti–Bs
The objective of optimization of thermal modes of SHS-compaction of functionallygradient materials Ti–B system is solved. Comparative analysis of the exploitation properties of average and obtained after optimizing of billets revealed significant increase in the efficiency of the compaction process and improvement the quality of the synthesized material.Presented the structural scheme of a special thermal vacuum pressform for compaction control modes.

Influence of casting process conditions on monocrystal structure parameters of new high-temperature alloys The influence of temperature and speed modes of crystallization and the shape of the edge for directional solidification on the morphology of the dendritic structure of the alloy, the microstructure of the new high-temperature, low-density foamed nickel alloy and the tendency to form defects in the single crystal structure of castings.

Marukovich E.I., Stetsenko V.Yu. Continuous horizontal casting and properties of antifriction silumin
On the jet cooling system base was developed high-performance and ecologically safe technology of continuous horizontal eutectic silumin casting with highly dispersed and inverted microstructure. Ingots with diameters 40...100 mm consisted of inverted eutectic with dispersion of globular silicon crystals 0,5...2 microns. After heat treatment by T5 mode, experimental ingots on frictional wear resistance exceeded analog from bronze Sn5Zn5Pb5 and Al9F4.

Oglodkov M.S., Ryabova E.N., Romanenko V.A. Strengthening the welded joint of the Al–Li-alloy extruded panel by glass-fiber aluminium laminate elements
The analysis of possible options of strengthening welded joints in designs of aircrafts is made, methods of surface preparation of aluminum-lithium semiproducts for bonding are investigated. Adhesive bonding of glassfiber aluminium laminate based on 1441and V-1469 Al–Li-alloys and the V-1469welded extruded panel are explored. Strength and resource properties level of the strengthened welded joints are estimated and the most effective option of strengthening is chosen.

Lengthy deformed semi-finished products from alloy system Al–Zr obtained with various methods of combined processings Compared are the properties of deformed semi-finished products from AL-Zr alloys made by various methods of modern treatment and by intensive plastic deformation (IPD). It is shown that the combination of methods of modern treatment and IPD provides a further enhancement of strength.

Nikitin K.V., Timoshkin I.Y., Nikitin V.I. Development of software for thermo-dynamic simulation of systems and processes of foundry and metallurgy industry The algorithm of calculation of thermodynamic characteristics of multicomponent systems implemented by author in the programming environment MS Visual Studio is stated. The results of calculations showing possibilities of developed software for solving applied problems of chemical thermodynamics in the foundry and metallurgical production are given at example of aluminum matrix composite alloys.
