Ten E.B., Batyshev A.I. Improving of effectiveness the technology of Fe–Si–Al-alloy Sendust melting and casting. Part 1. Optimization of charge composition It is fulfilled the optimization on minimal cost the third variants of charging with using as base of magnetic soft alloy Sendust the ferrous powder, high purity sorts of compacting iron and silicon steels. Analysis of received results showed the next. The variant of using the ferrous powder as base for magnetic soft alloy Sendust melting have a many disadvantages, among them high loss of materials, long melting time and other. During the using of high purity sorts of compacting iron the charge have a high cost. The best result are attained during the composing of charge with silicon steels.

Tikhonov A.K. New domestic and foreign steels for automotive parts and an effect of the microstructure on their strength
The article describes some trends in the development of sparingly alloyed steels for automotive parts subjected to carburizing, carbonitriding, and low-temperature nitrocarburizing. Microalloying with Al, S, Ca, and Te was used to improve their processability and strength properties.
Key words: Processing strength, microalloying, electric steel melting, hardenability, carbonitriding, nitrocarburizing.

Popel P.S., Dahlborg U., Calvo-Dahlborg M., Dong X., Brodova I.G., Kurochkin A.R. Hereditary effects in Al–Si and Al–Cu melts and their influence on the structure after crystallization
It has been shown using small angle neutron scattering method that disperse silicon particles inherited from raw materials exist in Al-Si melts at temperatures up to 1200°C. The largest of them disperse while heating up to 1200°C. Si particles maintain in the crystal structure of the alloys after their quick quenching. The signs of an existence of particles with the concentration of the most high melted intermetallic compound in Al-Cu melts, including stoichiometric concentrations Al50Cu50 and Al67.8Cu32.2, were detected while investigation of their density. It was shown that the structure of Al-Cu alloys formed after their crystallization with cooling rates of the order of 103°C/C changes significantly as a result of a homogenizing heat treatment of the initial melts.
Key words: Neutrons, scattering, melts, microparticles, quenching, intermetallic compounds, microstructure.

Ri Hosen, Ri E.H., Goncharov A.V., Ermakov M.A., Nikitin V.I., Nikitin K.V. Distribution of elements in structural composition of alloy VAL10
Variation in the concentration of the components in the structural constituents of the alloy VAL10 depending on different Cu and Cd contents in the alloy was studied. Nanohardness was measured using an atomic force microscope. The presence in the alloy of two components of a-solid solutions containing Cu, Mn and Ti, differing in content and location, was established. Crystals of a1 – a solid solution with a lower copper content have a lower nanohardness (980 MPa) than crystals of a2-solid solution (1568 MPa). As a rule, the a1 crystals are distributed in the center of the grain, and the a2 crystals – on the eutectic boundary (a mixture of aluminides Al2Cu, Al3Ni, Al6Fe). There are two types of eutectic with different contents of Cu and Cd in the alloy.
Key words: Distribution of elements, solid solutions, eutectic, nanohardness, microhardness, hardness.

Makarov G.S. Current issues and prospects of Aluminium recycling in Russia
Overview of new equipment, technologies and materials presented at the 7th International Conference “Aluminum-21/Recycling” is given. Changes in the Russian aluminium recycling industry over the last decade are described: reduction in the number of enterprises, low quality level of alloys, growing trends at some enterprises to manufacture products with an increased value-added costs, improvement of the juridical base, continuous depletion of the base of raw materials subjected to the recycling. It is shown that the prospects of production of Russian secondary aluminum alloys is closely related to the refocusing of the primary aluminium production from the export commodities both on the development of high value-added products manufacturing and an increase in the domestic consumption of aluminium products.
Key words: Secondary aluminium, aluminium recycling, scrap recycling, shredding, sorting, melting of alloys, aluminium consumption.

Titova Y.V., Amosov A.P., Maydan D.A., Latukhin E.I. Application of SHS auxiliary reaction of titanium carbide for introduction of AlN, Si3N4, BN nanoparticles into Al-melt
For ex-situ introduction of AlN, Si3N4, BN nanopowders, obtained by azide technology of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS),into the aluminum melt, an exothermic master powder composite (EMPC) of different composition (AlN/Si3N4/ BN)-(Ti+C)-Na2TiF6 was first used, leading to the realization of in-situ process of SHS of reinforcing phase TiC in the combustion mode in the aluminum melt. The conditions were found for reliable ignition of the EMPC and fabrication of cast hybrid nanocomposites Al-AlN(Si3N4, BN)-TiC with an increased content of AlN(Si3N4,BN) reinforcing phase.
Key words: SHS, sodium azide, aluminum nitride, boron nitride, silicon nitride, nanopowder, cast compositå.
