Marukovich E.I., Stetsenko V.Y. Scientific problem of crystallization of metal melts. Solution approaches
In the existing theory of crystallization of metal melts the basic construction element of crystals is atom. It creates a serious problem of scientific understanding of the mechanism of process of crystallization. For the solution of this problem it is necessary to read that the basic construction element of crystals is the nanocrystal. As a result of researches it is set that crystallization centersare formed in equilibrium conditions by coagulation of nanocrystals. Dendritic crystals are created of crystallization centers by as- sociation of nanocrystals on the arborescent mechanism.

Isaguluv A.Z., Ibatov M.K., Kvon Sv.S., Kulikov V.Yu., Aubakirov D.R. Choice of the compounding of composition of chamotte mix
Metallurgical industry – the main consumer of refractory materials, it spends 60…75% of all fire-resistant materials, and 70…80% of this quantity are spent when smelting steel. As a result of use of pore-free refractory materials of new generation wastelessness of production increases, working conditions improve, are reduced power-; material- and labor expenses. Initial materials and process parameters of production of fire-resistant products with the lowered porosity have significant effect on properties of products.
Key words: Chamotte, brick, fire resistance, porosity, pressing, gas permeability, heat stability.

An option of arranging a site for refining gal- vanized steel scrap in an existing machine-building plant foundry is proposed.
Key words: Zinc coated steel scrap, zinc drawing, chemical refining, induction melting, foundry, hydrochloric acid.

Modern materials

Popel P.S., Kurochkin A.R., Borisenko A.V. Inherited micro-heterogeneity of binary melts based on Al and Cu
The temperature dependences of the density of Al – Cu alloys were measured by the penetrating g-radiation method. Signs of the irreversible changes in the structure of the translucent zone of the melts were revealed. The authors associate this phenomenon with deposition of the dispersed Cu- enriched particles inherited from the initial ingot in a dispersive medium enriched in Al and their destruction at a temperature specified for each melt. According to the obtained results, the indicated structural rearrangement in most alloys occurs at ?1300°C. For the first time, irreversible changes in density were found out in samples of stoichiometric compositions. According to the equilibrium state diagram, they had a single-phase structure prior to melting.
Key words: Al–Cu and Cu–Al melts, density, micro-heterogeneity, homogenizing heat treatment.

Ageev E.V., Pereverzev A.S. Properties of the lead bronze powder obtained by electro-erosion dispersion
The results of studies of the phase composition of the powder obtained by electroerosive dispersion of lead bronze waste are presented. It is established that the main phases in the powder under investigation are Cu, Pb (Cu2O2), Pb5O8, Pb.
Key words: Lead bronze, dispersion, phase composition, waste.

Lovshenko F.G., Fedosenko A.S. Properties of plasma coatings made from mechanically alloyed metal-based powders
The basis of synthesized powders falls into the submicrocrystalline type and is formed by the dynamic recovery mechanism. The powders are thermodynamically nonequilibrium heat-sensitive materials, and coatings made of them are characterized by increased adhesion to the base material. An- nealing brings the phase composition nearer to equilibrium, which is accompanied by an increase in the hardness of both the powder particles and the coatings made of them, while the adhesion strength of the coatings and the base material is decreased. The coatings are characterized by a nonequilibrium phase composition and have a submicro-/microcrystalline type of structure.
Key words: Reactive mechanical alloying, powders for spraying, gas-thermal coatings, structure, properties, hardness, adhesion strength, wear resistance

XXI century technologies

Klimov V.G., Nikitin V.I., Zhatkin S.S., Nikitin K.V., Kogteva A.V. Recovery and modifying the blade of gas turbine engines by cladding methods
This article discusses the possibility of using heat-resistant Nickel powder materials such as VPR as a wear-resistant cladding applied by means of laser pulsed radiation. An original method of recovery cladding is proposed, which allows to repair and modify the wear-resistant characteristics of the rotor blades of gas turbine engines (hereinafter – GTD) with high economic efficiency. On the basis of the conducted comparative studies, including analysis on a scanning scanning electron microscope, measurement of peace-hardness and testing of abrasion resistance of materials, it is shown that under conditions of pulsed laser action at high cooling rate, the average matrix hardness and overall resistance to abrasive wear of the alloy VPr11-40H grows.

Samboruk A.R., Yatzenko I.V., Mamontov D.A. SHS of composite powder based on titanium carbide and ferrum from granulated batch
Production method of titanium carbide and ferrum composite powder based on a combination of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) of titanium carbide and aluminum-thermite reaction of ferrum reduction from oxide by aluminum is considered. As a result, a granulated easily grinded metal-ceramic material with magnetic properties is obtained..

Bespalov E.N., Butin O.Yu., Ermakov S.A., Kalmykov A.V. Impregnation of extruded blanks made of metalceramics with copper-based alloys using induction heating
The results of works focused on an improvement of process parameters of WC-Co powder extrusions impregnation with copper alloys in graphite molds to produce parts of different hardness are given. A new impregnation process has been proposed and verified experimentally. The process allows to exclude the direct contact of the impregnating metal ingot with an extruded part to be treated, for example, to ensure joining of the produced part with a structure component by soldering performed simultaneously with the impregnation.
