Marukovich E.I., Stetsenko V.Y. Scientific problem of modifying of primary crystals of a b-phase of castings from silumin
It is shown that the phosphorum which is contained in asilumin melt in number of 0,01…0,04% is in the dissolved look. For a solution of the problem of modifying of primary crystals of a b-phase in castings from silumin, it is necessary to accept that the oxygen adsorbed by a melt promotes decay and hinders with formation of crystallization centers of primary crystals of a b-phase. The role of phosphorum comes down to reduction of concentration of the adsorbed oxygen which works as the demodifier of primary microstructure of castings.

Minenko G.N. Properties of aluminum matrix composite material after treatment in an electric field
The method of electric field treatment of composite material based on aluminum alloy is described. The scheme of the experimental setup and experimental data are presented. The optimal periods of the electric field influence on the composite material are determined.

Demchenko A.I., Korovin V.А., Leushun I.О., Belyaev S.V. Effect of melt filtration on the EP-718 alloy structures
It is shown that filtration of Nickel alloy by means of foam ceramic filters (PCF) is an effective way to reduce the number of nonmetallic inclusions. Features of filtration refining of EP-718 alloy are investigated. The influence of filtration refining on the microstructure of the alloy was studied. The prospects of application of PCF to improve the microstructure of the alloy EP -718 are shown.

Afanasyev V.K., Dolgova S.V., Popova M.V., Sagalakova M.M., Sankina O.V., Chernysh A.P. About the microstructure of pure iron
Further work has been carried out to establish the formation of the structure of pure Fe from the position of the leading role of the organic complex HCNO – a single community that forms dark, gray and light in pure iron. A critical analysis of the features of the preparation of sections with a long etching time (up to 21 days) in the conventional alcohol solution HCNO. New compositions of HCNO have been developed through the use of nitric (HNO3), formic (HCOOH) and glacial (CH3COOH) acids, which allow to control the formed ratio of light and dark, up to the formation of a spherical form of dark in pure iron. It is necessary to establish the optimal composition of HCNO for the development of thermal and chemical-thermal treatment technologies capable of obtaining "new materials" on the basis of the Fe–C system.

Aftandilyants E.G., Lopatko K.G. An effect of iron nanoparticles modification and heat treatment on the microstructure of low alloy steel
The article presents the results of a study of changes in the structure of 25 GSL steel in the as-cast state after modification with iron nanoparticles, consisting of 18% a- and 82% g-iron, as well as its modification after normalization.

Malinov L.S., Burova D.V., Malysheva I.E. Getting the required level of mechanical properties of the construction steels of energy-saving treatment in the intercritical temperature ranges
It is shown that with rational thermo-time modes of heating and holding in the intercritical temperature range, quenching from it and tempering of investigated structural steels, as well as environmentally friendly methods of intermittent and isothermal quenching, allow to obtain the required level mechanical properties. At the same time, energy consumption is reduced in comparison with standard heat treatment, in some cases the use of expensive and fire-hazardous oil and non-environmentally friendly molten salts (alkalis) are excluded.

Eldarkhanov A.S., Nuradinov A.S., Uzdieva N.S., Akhtaev S. S.-S. An effect of running magnetic field intensity in the mold of acontinuous-casting machine on the formation of section bars
The influence of the electromagnetic mixing (EMM) of liquid metal in the mold of the continuous casting machine on its thermal work, the formation of the structure and properties of cast billets are investigated. The influence of the current and frequency of EMM on the mechanical properties, macro- and microstructure of round and square sorted billets was established.

Kostin N.A., Trusova E.V. Development of an efficient method of strengthening the details of the press-tool
The article discusses the features of carbonitriding of parts made of steel 5ХГМ, deposited by the electrode ОЗШ–1. The composition of nitrogenous carbon paste for carbonitriding was developed. Studies of the saturation of the outer layers of nitrogen and carbon at various temperatures are given.

Andreev D.E., Yukhvid V.I. SHS-metallurgy of titanium aluminides
Studies were carried out on synthesis of cast titanium aluminides via SHS-metallurgy. It was shown that CaO2+Al energy additive makes it possible to realize the combustion process in Ti–Al element systems and obtain titanium aluminides in cast form.
