Panov А.G., Davydov S.V. Changes in the phase structure of high-strength cast irons alloyed with cast Fe-Mg-Ni-alloys
Dependence of formation of structure of high-strength pig-iron on cast structure modifying modifier is established. At modifying processing high-strength pig-iron cast modifiers on basis Fe-Mg-Ni which structure changed due to processing by surface-active elements and the accelerated cooling, there is a change, both morphology spherical graphite, and change of structure matrix. Change of a complex of mechanical properties of high-strength pig-iron is investigated.
Keywords:Morphology of the graphite, the modified modifier, high-strength pig-iron, structure of a matrix, mechanical properties.

Minenko G.N. Electro-microstructural effect in Fe–C alloys
The effect of electric field treatment on the change in the electrical conductivity of a liquid alloy is shown. A change in the physical state of the alloy and the occurrence of an electro-microstructural effect are described. The dependence of the strength properties of Fe–C alloys under the influence of an electric field is revealed.
Keywords:Foundry Fe–C-alloys, electric field, electro-microstructural effect, strength.

Druzhevsky M.A. Lining of induction melting furnaces with quartzite-based materials
The article describes the basic principles of lining induction furnaces. The influence of various factors on the durability of the lining is described. The features of polymorphic transformations in quartzite during the operation of the furnace, the features of the interaction of the lining with liquid metal are given.
Keywords:Induction furnace, lining, quartzite, sintering.

Takhetsi I., Korobeinikov V.V., Tkachenko S.S. Reducing the heat loss of liquid metal is the key to the efficiency of the casthouse production
The quality of cast billets and profitability of the casthouse production are highly dependent on the condition and preparation of the casting ladles. High-quality lining and heating up of ladles contribute to increasing productivity, reducing energy consumption during melting, guaranteeing stable quality and improving environmental conditions when using modern stands for heating up of ladles.
Keywords:Casting ladles, lining of ladles, stands for heating up of ladles.

Marukovich E.I., Stetsenko V.Y., Stetsenko A.V. Crystallization of iron-carbon alloys – nanostructural process
Crystallization of iron-carbon alloys has been shown to be a nanostructural process. Microcrystals of primary austenite and austenite-graphite eutectics during crystallization of cast iron, microcrystals of austenite and ?-ferrite during crystallization of steel are formed as a result of nanostructural reactions from elementary nanocrystals of iron and graphite, free atoms of iron and graphite, iron-carbon complexes.
Keywords:Steel, iron, crystallization, nanostructured process, nanocrystals, free atoms, microcrystals, iron-carbon complexes.

Davydov S.V. Low-energy nuclear reactions during wave deformation of low-carbon steel. Part I
In the study of microstructure of carbon steel by the example of steel 10 and steel 45, the surface of which was hardened by shock-wave deformation hardening method, individual inclusions of gold and silver were found, which were confirmed by various experimental and quantitative studies.
Keywords:Surface hardening, plastic deformation, cold nuclear fusion (CNF), low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR), mechanosynthesis, shock wave deformation, wave deformation hardening.

Verin А.S. Some peculiarity of the crystallization and strength not alloyed Ni3Al
The article describes some peculiarity of the process crystallization and tensile strength of the intermetallid Ni3Al without doped another elements obtained by dosed directional solidification method. It was shown the character rupture of the round and laminate samples at the temperature 20 and 1200?C. It was found that the material of the round sample in the area of rupture displaces across direction to axis of sample in process tensile at the room temperature. The round form of sample is becoming of the elliptic view. In the laminate samples this process is absent.
Keywords:Dosing, tensile strength, area of rupture, block of dislocations.

Belotserkovsky M.A., Kukareko V.A., Astrashab E.V., Grigorchik A.N., Korobov Yu.S. Structural-phase composition of a gas-thermal coating of Fe-Cr-Ni-Al-pseudo alloy subjected to annealing
The structural-phase state of the gas-thermal coating made of Fe-Cr-Ni-Al pseudo-alloy in the initial state, as well as after annealing in the temperature range 550…650?C for 20…60 minutes, has been investigated. It has been established that the phase composition of the Fe-Cr-Ni-Al pseudo-alloy in the initial state includes mainly Al and ?-Fe, and its porosity does not exceed 3…5 vol.%. Annealing of a thermal spray coating from a pseudo-alloy at temperatures of 550…650?C for 20…60 minutes leads to the release of iron-aluminum intermetallic compounds Fe3Al, Al13Fe4 and Al5Fe2, an increase in hardness and porosity.
Keywords:Pseudo alloy, annealing, structural-phase state, porosity.

Doroshenko V.S. The combining casting and heat treatment with obtaining two-phase and multi-phase metal structures of castings from iron-carbon alloys
In the development of methods for controlled cooling of castings after solidification in a sandy form, variants of a combination of casting with heat treatment (НТ) have been proposed, which can be called СНТ methods. The conditions for the development of a СНТ process for castings from iron-carbon alloys, which is most convenient for casting in sandy evacuated molds, sand from which is easily poured out after the termination of vacuumization, without hindering the removal of hot casting from the mold. A method of hardening by supplying an air-sand mixture to hot casting, as in sandblasting, is proposed.
Keywords:Cooling of castings, heat treatment, iron-carbon alloys, isothermal hardening, ductile iron, ADI, СНТ process, ferrite, ausferrite.
