Davydov S.V. Low-energy nuclear reactions during wave deformation of low-carbon steel. Part II
During the shock wave deformation of steel 10 and steel 45 in the hardened steel layer inclusions of gold and silver were found, the presence of which has been confirmed by various experimental and quantitative studies. The hypothesis of the formation of synthetic gold and silver in the structure of deformed steel based on cold nuclear fusion (CNF) or low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR) as a consequence of splitting the amorphous structure of steel in the deformation core into iron clusters and degenerate electron gas, followed by a collapsing self-compression of the system was proposed.

The crystallization of silumins has been shown to be a nanostructured process. Liquid silumin consists of elementary nanocrystals of aluminum and silicon, free atoms of aluminum and silicon, aluminum-silicon complexes. Primary microcrystals are formed from them. Eutectic microcrystals are formed from elementary nanocrystals of silicon and aluminum, aluminum-silicon complexes.

Mukhina I.Yu., Duyunova V.A., Trofimov N.V., Rostovtsev A.S. Features of the structure and properties of Mg-Al-Zn alloys in case of flux-free melting
The use of Mg-Al-Zn cast alloys can significantly reduce the weight and ensure the corrosion resistance of products applied in aircraft and spacecraft. These alloys do not contain expensive and scarce elements and, due to the use of flux-free melting and casting, they have rather high mechanical and corrosion properties allowing to meet modern requirements to the equipment working in all-climatic conditions.

Rudenko S.P., Valko A.L., Papkovski P.I., Sandomirski S.G., Karpovich P.G. Quality of manufacturing of gears from sparingly alloyed steel at all stages of technological conversion
The advantages of sparingly alloyed steels for the manufacture of large-module gears are substantiated. A test output quality control of the manufacture of gears from rolled new structural sparingly alloyed steel 21ХГНМБА (21KhGNMBA) was carried out at all stages of technological conversion in the conditions of serial production. The efficiency of the developed technological processes of preliminary heat treatment of workpieces and chemical-thermal treatment of gears is shown. A significant reduction in the labor intensity of these processes is achieved in comparison with the processes of chemical-thermal treatment of steels with a high nickel content. Recommendations are given on the choice of an abrasive tool for grinding surface-hardened gears made of economically alloyed steel.

The paper presents the results of studies on the possibility of restoring punches of punched dies made of 9XC steel by automated electric arc surfacing with OK TUBRODUR 53 GM flux-cored wire. The effect of surfacing modes on the geometry, structure and microhardness of the surfacing zones has been established. Based on the studies, the optimal modes have been selected to ensure the high quality of the surfacing.

Verin A.S. Combinative ceramic moulds for casting with directed crystallization castings
Combinative-divided ceramic moulds for directed crystallization obtained by investment method for dosed directional solidification (DDS) allows obtaining of ingots with gradient-functional structure and correspondingly with difference mechanical properties along height of ingot. The casting of the fatigue specimens with difference variants of doped Ta, Nb, Mo, Re ... allows to economize of these metals. Obtaining of blades for aircraft engines with said structure allows in future working and production engines with higher characteristics.
